Why do you people complain about Mewtwo's recovery?

I point you in the direction of This Thread. Mewtwo's recovery is considered to be slightly less effective than Jigg's rising pound infinite recovery, and slightly better than even the best bombjump-grapple-walljump for Samus. Basically, if he still has his airjump, if he doesn't die outright, he can get back. (I've recovered from a Kirbycide before) Even if he doesn't have his airjump, the teleport is longer than the Shine's knockback.

His PROBLEM, is that he's slow, a big target, and light enough that he seldom has a cance to actually use his recovery, because he's dead already.

His forward B should be the move from the movie Mewtwo Returns. The part where he battles Mew, they keep charging into each other with each surrounded in a psychic aura. Much like Kirby's dash A attack, but better with less lag. It would be cool for him to move forward a bit, helps as a recovery move. Just an idea.

I wonder if mewtwo does return what will his final smash be? I think that it would be a massive psykic flux that deals alot of damage and temprorarily paralyzes everyone on the field. or a massive shadow ball either one works. i still want him in brawl. (though not as much as other characters)

Mewtwo deserves to be in. And I cannot say I am suprised that Deoxys is out. He was too similar to Mewtwo (in appearance, type, abilities), yet does not have the villain status that Mewtwo already claimed. All he has are different forms which would be too time consuming to implement. Even if each form had a stat adjustment and no new attacks. It would affect balancing issues; think about it. Dexoys normal form would be tuned to be balanced with the other characters. But if you start messing with the stats of a balanced character, then you are going to upset the balance.

Mewtwo might even be the next character revealed. That is who I am betting on.

Right behind you with a knife.
Yeah, with Deoxy's out, Mewtwo's chances just shot up big time. He just lost the competition for the evil psychic spot, and he was unique in Melee. All he needs is some adjustments, really, and he's good for Brawl.

And by and by, Deoxy's could easily be different from Mewtwo, even without transformations. Then again, there's no discussing that now.

Mewtwo: the original uber-pokemon, and as close to badass as a pokemon can, so yeah, I think he should return for brawl. I just hope they retool his moves greatly.
