When it comes to grabbing, is it harder to grab an opponent with Meta Knight then with other characters?

lmfao

He has a long dash grab. It's actually easy to grab people with Meta. You have a lot to learn kid.

I think it is very easy to grab with meta
just walk a little bit in the direction of your opponent (after a lagfull attack) and grab
and dashgrab is another good option

Meta's grab range is psuedo extended by how far he slides when he dash grabs. You have to learn when to time the grab, but it works very well when you do.

His grab range is short, though. You seem to be going a bit overboard here, amirite?
He's not going overboard. Metaknight has a crazy grab. When dashing his grab range is amazing, and doesn't a very punishable cool down. If you think he has a bad grab then you should stop playing Brawl.

I sort of agree with him. When he dashgrabs it looks like he is extending hi body a little. I don't think that means his grab i way longer.

I could be wrong though.

I didn't necessarily mean overboard about the grab. Also it has 29 cooldown frames. If that's not punishable enough for you, you should stop playing Brawl.

You're right. His grab-range is "extended" just because he stretches out; while is grab-range is longer, he extends his hurtbox, too. Also, red font is reserved for mods, isn't it?

Its easy to get grabs with MK.

His dash grab has mroe range than SAMUS! His standing grab is tied for 3rd in range (pretty sure)

It only takes two frames to downsmash. That pretty much keeps him safe from being punished from a grab. His grab is good enough you shouldn't miss much with it.

EDIT: It's five. It's still pretty **** fast.

You know what else keeps him safe..... He's MetaKnight
Wow, great contribution! Did you wrack your brain all day to come up with such insight?

Lol, what? How many frames it takes for Dsmash to come out somehow affects whether or not 29 cooldown frames is enough for you to punish a missed dash grab? IDK what game you're playing but in Brawl the speed of your other attacks doesn't magically protect you from getting punished by your cooldown frames. Maybe 1/2 a second isn't enough time for you to react, but it is for most of us (I should hope).
