I think there's a little more thought than that when it comes to Magic flavor and mechanics haha

Lmao. Marth307's cards look way imba compared to what KK was making.
I'm not sure about that. GG for a 3/3 haste vigilance first strike is really good. The only ones Marth307 made that are comparably good are Isai's sheik, puff and pichu if they were at common for limited, and 3's roy (that thing is really, really overpowered). Most of the other cards are a lot worse than your fox.

And designing a smash set to draft is the best idea.

How about:

Aggression/recklessness is Red, analytical styles are blue, defensive styles are White, ???? is Black, and intuitive/natural styles are Green.

I'm not opposed to "controlling space" for black, but what's the idea behind it?
sorin/creeping tar pit/lilliana/mind sludge/duress etc. outside of Vampires most of Black is based on control.

mew2king's marth is perfect for Black, haha.

completely random haha

but sure, I can buy it, maybe.

I hope Hbox doesn't take it the wrong way when we make him a Black card

The best thing to do is probably just ignore flavor rules for some people. Like give Darkrain black and Cactuar green etc.

mew2king's marth is perfect for Black, haha.
From a flavor point of view I think his primary color should be Blue

Lol i made m2ks marth blue XP i think what im going to do is make player characters (mrk etc) legendary and just the normal characters (fox, kirby, etc) basic creatures Smash attacks will be sorcery Wavedashing Powershielding and stuff of that nature will be instants Stages will be lands with the exceptions of the basic land ive already provided and enchantments will be things like taunts tournement pressure... we need to converge in the us somewhere and draft this ****!!!!Does anyone want to help me make the smash set?I plan o a goal of 100-120 cards, only help if you plan on making cards similar to the normal set(not OP) Im going to revise the ones Ive already made
and when im done ill post a thread in melee disscusion with my revisons :)

See, my issue is that most posted are imbalanced as in, towards near unplayable. A lot of them have stupid high casting costs and as if that wasn't enough it costs about just as much to activate the abilities. Turn 7 to play a card is waaaayyy higher than it ought to be.

Ya but even legendary creatures in Magic aren't that OP anyway since it's pretty hard to put them out in the first place unless you have help with spells and stuff. Like creatures with 8 or more mana cost usually have a major drawback to them.. Idk like Leviathan lol. Phyraxian Dreadnaught is insane too lol.

Unless you're doing some kind of long combo, Slivers are kind of bleh to play because it's easy to be tempted into overextending.

Revised roy

I didn't really play block. I mostly just helped my friend playtest. That meant me playing stuff like BW Aggro-Control variants for a while against whatever control deck was winning at the time. Fifty games of WB Aggro-Control vs. Ghazi-Glare gets really boring. Then you get fifty more games of WB Aggro-Control vs. Izzettron or whatever UR had at the moment. And so forth and so on.

Eventually he wound up playing Heartbeat Combo.

I think the deck I played most was probably BW Aggro-Control. At some point I got a kick out of Zoo (WRG aggro) but I didn't like being without Dark Confidant. If you could somehow get Dark Confidant to stick then a lot of matches became easy.

Sadly, no. I haven't played MtG seriously in years. Much less the new stuff.

Infect looks really gay, though. I hope they don't make it a tier 1 deck type.

It's not better or worse really. You're moving sideways ><

Okay, look at your card, now look at this:

In short, yes.

Longer: it's mostly to do with his idiosyncrasies regarding how he approaches combos. He's said (numerous times) his favourite kinds of combos are the ones where the opponent is not completely locked in stun or limited to tech options. He likes it when the opponent is given the impression of having options but they get hit anyway.

I'd find the post(s) but I'm far too lazy to dredge through everything.

Untapping their creature during the combat step always gives them at least 1 option. Which I felt captured this (very unique) aspect of his play.
I don't think Cactuar's Fox is perfect or anything, but there's a clear effort to make the card's mechanics convey the idea of how Cactuar's Fox plays in actual smash.

Your new Roy is "based off Hellkite Igniter", which is some dragon with a jetpack. It should be based off Roy.

Attempts to make a non-useless Roy (in limited):

1R

2RR, tap: the next time a creature would deal combat damage to Roy this turn, prevent that damage. Roy deals that amount of damage to that creature.

1/1
Or:

1RR

First Strike

0: Roy gets +3/+0 and loses First Strike until end of turn. Activate this ability only once each turn, before blockers are declared.

1/1
That one might be a little awkward, idk

or something involving him tapping to build up charge counters and then dealing that much damage to something. (Roy's neutral B)
