Boycotting or something along those lines would seem extremely childish to other participants and TOs themselves; would put Melee in a bad light and turn people away from considering it at their events.

I'm not salty or anything but if we lose and you guys really want act salty as **** maybe we can boycott EVO. Tell other good players to not go to EVO. There are more tournaments out there for them to participate. EVO is nothing without the people that attend. Then that would cause a big cold war of FGC vs. Smash and lots of fun and ****.

Why the **** would you even? EVO didnt do anything to us but give a chance. At most im just not gonna watch Super Turbo on stream cus it's boring as ****, same way i dont watch SFxT and SF4(It's almost as if the SF games are just not enjoyable to watch or something) but like, Marvel, and KoF and P4.

Real talk though, we lose out on EVO we just go straight into our next huge *** tournament, G3

She since moved to a different university, but I contacted her today telling her about this whole thing and asked if she could forward it to anyone she knows so hopefuly she pulls through on such a late notice.

Their game was forgettable at best.

Still, they had great ideas but Omar Kendall's track record with production quality was terrible to begin with and they seemed to bank a lot of their success on having Clockw0rk and SKills on the dev team for community cred.

Also, im still a bit salty they changed from votes to donation (which is obviously to melee's disadvantage) AFTER melee was already a clear winner of the vote. IMO they should let top 3 in. Anyways there is only one way to prove to show them the greatness, and right now we'red doing it!

It was significant news even from a neutral perspective in that ST's rush brought the total across all games above $100K. We'll see, though.

When I worked at Toys R Us over the Holidays, I had a few people ask about PSASBR. I basically stood next to the kiosk that we had running a video of it while I explained that it was another fighting game, sony characters, etc.

Even after seeing gameplay and hearing good things about the game, most of the people didn't buy it.

I'm not too sure why, but it seems that the game just never really took off after the initial release excitement.

Since I'm batting 1 for 1 right now with my predictions, let me make another prediction

Super Turbo doesn't actually have a bunch of super rich dudes. They actually have theives. They stole a bunch of credit cards and used it to charge for to this tournament, hence the 5k increments and not just one huge lump sum. Remember the -300 dollars that happened? Thats one of the credit cards getting cancelled. They are trying to end this before all their stolen credit cards get canceled. Don't sweat it guys. We got this. Nice guys > Thieves
