I don't think sheik sucks so bad. all the top tiers/most popular characters pretty much destroy her in matchups, but i manage to hold my own.

sheik's suckiness is overrated -- she's a great character, just takes extra work -- but when i say she sucks her fun ratio is just too low, which doesn't give you much reward for all that extra work you have to put in

The number of people using a certain character doesn't directly determine just how good that character is.

Please use a more objective list if you're going to bother using one at all. IE, do something like take the top ___ players in the US/World, see how many of them use Sheik/Falco, if they win tournaments with Sheik/Falco(or another different character), and so on.

Sheik doesn't suit their playstyle, they don't like Sheik as a character, etc; there's a whole handful of other possibilities that you failed to address.

don't forget isai, rob$, forward(also), Neo and Hayato but yeah the list is still much shorter. More people play falco cuz it's fun to combo people across the stage then it is to dash attack-fair.

Why are you arguing a different point than the original one (which is, by the way, that Sheik is better than Falco as a character, or vice versa).

That's all well and good, but that doesn't make Sheik an inferior character.

Don't bother with the "why are you trying so hard" when you're getting verbally *****. Pretty sure you're trying quite a bit harder than I am, and yet you still fail to make a valid argument that addresses the original point.

hydro hydro, i don't know why you insist in turning it into some dramatic pissing contest when you're seemingly intentionally being so close minded.

think about it. what was the original hypothetical composed? something like "falco sucks [relative to sheik]." if you're going to come out and say such an inane statement, then what about players XYZ 123 who have dramatic tournament success with falco, compared to the handful of equally accomplished sheik players? at the very least it suggests your opinion is compromised or jaded in some form if you believe that's the case. either that or you're just attention wh0ring. at the most we're talking about stuff on the margins, but it's undeniable it's a lot easier to get falco on the level of pro, which is a point in and of itself that i'm sorry you can't see.

i shouldn't have to connect the dots for you. stop taking it so literally.

Sheiks a better char overall than falco, however by no means is falco easier to become pro with than ANY other character. If anything hes the hardest. You literally have to be flawless to play him at the top level. Also good luck mango.

M2k also feels sheik is the best character, but I think its marth. Lol.

^ tech skill is not hard to get flawless with. it's mere muscle memory that every human has the capacity to do and replicate. and no, playing vs falco you have to play flawlessly since you only get a handful of openings per stock and any mistakes are punished easily and harshly.

sheik gets ***** by the two most common characters in the game, and she doesn't **** the rest of the cast of good characters nearly as well as fox and falco do, save for marth. and considering that marth matchup is one of the main things sheik can hang her hat on, it's really quite close once the marth is good.
