i would come on the 16th... but i have to find my controller. someone took it thinking it was theirs. >.> baddies that cant tell if it's their controller or not

if i can find my controller, then i should be there. and ill bring a gamecube and game with me....... now wheres that controller...

:\ idk i'm picky when it comes to controllers for serious melee play. i don't like the amount of resistance the white japanese ones have on the control stick, and it's hard to find original controllers that are in good condition.

me too yet u still can have fun at these events aside from this serious melee

ok my controller showed up, so i should be there. :)

edit: Yo thanks Kanye, just re-watched all of it over the weekend. It was sooo good.

I just have to take my test and I'll have my driver's license, I've just been a lazy piece of **** and haven't gotten yet haha. Once I get that, I'll be able to make it out to more little smashfests and stuff.

I'll pay someone like, ten/fifteen dollars in gas money to pick me up and take me to this.
I can't really drive to things anymore because my GPS bit the dust.

This is not necessarily the case at all. I'm pretty sure at this point there are more people that have a smart phone than those that don't, and how many people do you see absorbed in them in public? Sure you see them, but it's hardly a majority.

I mean I'd run the side tourney. I care more about P:M than I do Melee, so I wouldn't mind running that. Single elimination would make it run quicker too. I'm fine with just taking MM's, though if any of you are balls enough.

I'm totally with Manning on the the GPS issue. No sense of direction + not having a GPS after relying on one for a while makes you never wanna go back to Mapquest and ****. One wrong turn and... welp, time to drive off a cliff.

Thank you GPS lords.

Anyway, I called off work this saturday because I thought Sweet X was next week, so I guess I accidentally got off for this tourney. I will more than likely be in attendance.
