Masters of the 2D Race, A G&W Ranking/Tourney Results Thread(Updated 3/23/10)

Alright, so there's been talk in the social thread of a Game and Watch rankings/results thread. Since the old thread died,i decided to make a new one to record all the tourney results of this summer and the ones in future. At the same time, simple rankings will be determined depending on how one has placed in their tournaments. Under here will be a list of all the Game and Watch mainers and under each name, their results will be linked. Your placing on the list will depend on the results you post and it's simple as that. These rankings aren't accurate of course but just something to add a little fun to the thread.

To be included on the list you must:

-Tourney name
-Link to the tourney thread
-Tourney placing
-Tourney wins / losses / record (example: Beat "John Smith" 2-1). Sorted in a Winner's Bracket- Loser's Bracket fashion.

IS this necessary? Our tournaments don't show the brackets (i have asked) and i can't remember all the people i Vs. It doesn't even change all that much on the list... ?

I'll repost my results when i am at home, too hard to do at school.

Ive nver been to a tourney. Neither online nor offline. Glad you actually made this though. It should be interesting to see whos the best gnw in the boards. Then a gnw ditto tourney should be held with the top 10 O.o That would be nice too see if the person that got no 1 based on tournament placings also gets no 1 when it comes to fighting fellow gnws.

most of know the top G&W players anyway, valdens,zac,hylian?( do you still play G&W?o.O),Neb,leepuff and such.
This thread is really more to record results...and to see progression of other G&W players.

well wifi also has a pretty big competitive scene. I suggest going there to just familiarize yourself with how others play. I myself play alot of wifi but i'm kinda new to the offline scene =/. I'll probably post my results soon but they arent that great...lol. I tend to choke/ get nervous in singles a lot...hopefully more expierence will fix that=/. lol Anyway,goodluck with that sir

The thread is from over a year ago. The results aren't. We use the same thread for each years tournaments. Also, i don't know much about time zones, but it's september here (Australia), the first link is only from 6-7 months ago, maybe different for you? iunno. K done. The links aren't broken for me. And now i know how to use that little world symbol with the chain under it at the top of the post box.

Everyone sort of ditched out gnw :[

The only "pro gnws", the ones that go to tourneys in hopes of winning money, (to my knowledge), and often do, are UTDzac and Valdens.

Just a suggestion, I think you should put the tournament results for each specific person in the [/code] format so that people looking at the first post don't have to scroll down for like 20 seconds to find something. The OP might not be that big right now but if this lasts for a year then it'll become massive.
