Now that's gorgeous, it'd be nice if we got a nice artwork of Skull Kid when he's confirmed. Unfortunately only Inkling have gotten a newcomer poster and that was just Splatoon twitter.This is unreleated but check out OOT Link and SS Zelda in the BOTW style

Yeah for some reason I really do not like how he looked in hyrule warriors,Ok. There's seriously a difference when you compare Hyrule Warriors Majora's Mask and the official artwork of the mask in Majora's Mask. Even its portrait with Skull Kid's assist trophy isn't accurate.

Hopefully if Skull Kid is playable, the mask is more clean and colorful akin to Majora's Mask.
I noticed the mask's shape, to. HW and assist trophy Majora's Mask look ballooned. Haha

I almost feel tempted in attempting to draw Skull kid in that BOTW style… but of course i wouldn't be able to reach that level of greatness haha

Oh I didn't make my profile pic. I did draw the Solatorobo render in my signature tho. But yeah I think I will give it a try! I might draw him playing the flute or the ocarina as well due to this musical theme going on…

oh wow i didn't expect that at the endWas exploring YouTube and found this fanmade alternate ending for Majora's Mask. Spoilers if you haven't finished it. They used some assets from the old 64 version but overall I thought it was really great

Yeah I did not expect anything at Gamescom myself. Though, I do expect at LEAST 1 newcomer when they talk about online and upcoming games for this fall/winter

Right? I always assumed he knew you were watching him and didn't want you "spying" so he went to go play a nasty trick on some other inhabitants in Termina. Maybe flying away to Ikana or Snowhead etc. What an eerie cutscene.
It's interesting that they changed this in MM3D. He just turns back around. Maybe there were so many people who were confused about it that they decided to change it, lol.
Pretty cool stuff. Deku Curse is even featured on the thumbnail! i'm a big fan of this idea obviously. Personally i would love if Talt and Tael were part of his moveset, i think it's a great idea to have the 'MM intro' version of Skullkid where he's still a trickster and less a monster (personal preference). I know there's not much to pick from in terms of moves but the tendrils smash attacks i find a bit weird. From what i recall, the mask never actually do this while it's still onto Skullkid's face... i wouldn't really mind if they do it this way but still, again that's only personal preferences...
with UpB teleportation plus it would be cool to have him float somehow (i was thinking kind of like Pit's UpB in Brawl, flying for a limited amount of time). Even better if he could float back to the stage in this position, laughing :
If there's one thing Tatl and Tael would be great for, it's the grabs, he can hold other fighters and Tatl just bounces herself into the grabbed fighter over and over until he lets go
Yup. In theory his fairy is still Navi, in fact he's searching for her in the Lost Woods at the beginning of MM. We never know for sure if he manages to reunite with Navi after the end of MM though.
I mean, in the Young Link trailer, we see a bright blue fairy, not a yellow one.
Yep in SSBU Young Link has Navi in one of his taunts. Generic Fairies are typically pink. Tatl and Tael are open for Skull Kid
I actually seen it. I wanted to post it but then got over it. I respect his input but the move set is mostly unoriginal. It was like watching a HW Skull Kid gameplay, lack in appeal.
Skull Kid doesn't fit the HW art style.I feel like one of the only people in this thread who likes Skull Kid in Hyrule Warriors.
Yeah, it is perfect taunt material. I am not the kind of person who goes out of her way to make opponents feel miserable, but for those who dig this stuff, that taunt would inflict "Show me your moves" and "You are too slo-ow" levels of tilt.
But all those Wind Waker characters look perfectly normal standing next to everyone else.
All I'm saying is, I want Smash Ultimate Skull Kid to fully embody Majora's Mask.
