Often times when you get countered by marth, you hit an invisible ceiling and you go through the same animation as you would for a normal ceiling. Is this techable?

Slowly starting to enjoy my mothertongue again. :)
Jungle, you forgot Magus.

And it's not EXACTLY the same as when you hit a ceiling. For one thing, you don't get the green flashes of light. For another, the speed with which you fly off isn't quite the same. Also, I feel like it's less of a bounce off the ceiling and more of a curve. Also, since you're not actually hitting a ceiling, you can't tech the "ceiling hit". Feel free to tech once you touch a real wall/ground though.

Frick! I don't search my name!

No, you can't tech it.

Also, if anyone cares, invisible ceiling glitches occur when your attack is blocked and then you are hit after it really quickly. So it's rather rare.

No, you cannot.

It has something to do with the trajectory of your character and not with walls, floors, or ceilings...

The trajectory is the after effect of the hit. Counter animation (upward trajectory), actual damaging hit (downward animation).

The effects are more prominent on Roy's counter than Marth's.
