Leon, Mike, Dabuz, and Anti's pools are all really stacked.

First semi-upset: Poyo> Zeton game 1
Zeton evens it up!
Zeton over poyo

Nike has a camera glued to Leon's pool

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME
Anti forfeits.

Mr. R is godtier. He is, from what I've heard, the single most surprising/pleasing they've seen thus far. People say he has one of, if not the best snake out there atm. His Marth is well... yeah.

As for placing, I still say it depends entirely on who is in their bracket. Ramin easily can get top 2-4 though.

He could easily "upset" every person there. Although I don't think that, at this point, anybody would be surprised at all.

Leon, is harder. He seems a bit inconsistent and has one of, if not the, hardest pool this round. Assuming he makes it out, top 16 is my guess.

His Marth is super solid amazing. His fundamentals are incredible. After watching him vs Japan, I'm thoroughly pleased I got more than I expected from him. This is NOT the same Ramin I've been talking to the past few months/America has seen in videos. He has gotten soooo much better. It's kind of ridiculous.

RedHalberd and Mampam (1st and second seed of their individual pools respectively), had to forfeit out of pools for family reasons.

Tyrnat 1st seed, San 2nd seed.
Nairo 1st seed, TO Joe 2nd seed. Zeton drowned.

Every pool that I know of is in there. I'm getting them from various people at the venue.

Potential 3-way tie in Dabuz's pool

More pools!
jtail, brood, xzax, billy, almo
kprime, nick riddle, malcolm m@v, ripple

Dabuz gets first seed, Seagull gets 2nd. Espy, Seagull, Nicole were almost tied. Seagull lost 2-1 to nicole. The rest 2-0'd each other. Hylian got last seed in that pool.

Quick background on the NEO/M2K pool.
Neo was worried about Salem going into this tourny and believes that ZSS beats Marth. M2K is pretty much guaranteed 1st seed so it's one of those two for second seed.

Impressive, despite Mike's loss, he still got first seed. Mike>Denti>Jash

Poor Nike =/
Nike, ADHD, Kain, Logic

Havok made it out of pool 2-1 Shadow and close games vs Tinman. I think Shadow got second seed- not confirmed.

Tbqh I've been doubting Ramin the lost couple of months. America has been critisizing him because of his gimmicky gameplay, but it's mostly his offensive style that's dangerous. The tricks work regardless.

Mentioned Mike above, everything else is in my prior posts here.

Jumpman- I talked to Ramin and he said he's confident in his defensive gameplay if it comes down to it. He doesn't want to but he says he's more than willing to do it if necessary.

That's what I wanted to hear. :) He's had the habit to go all out offensive, even in friendlies. He never sandbagged before, but it seems like he's finally serious. My faith is back.

Razer > Shugo > Slikvik @ Infern

Got a pool update from JNig:

JNig 2-0'd Cheese, got 0-2'd by Nietono, got 1-2'd by Orion, and has to play Wedge. Orion has to lose to Cheese and Wedge for JNig to make it out, but it's looking like Nietono 1 and Orion 2.

Reflex's pool hasn't been announced yet.

I just heard that D1AOS got in 2nd round pools due to an error. Doesn't look like it will be fixed.

Thank you Zigsta!

Melee matches are amazing.

Nike lost 2-0 to logic. Kain/ADHD going to game 3

What kind of error? Don't they just do some very simple math to determine who gets out? Or did someone lie/make a mistake reporting wins?

I was just told "due to a pool error"
I'm sure they'll talk about it in the results thread after the fact.
Sorry =/

Dojo 2-1'd bloodcross and is 1-1 with Chu now. Both at super high percents, first stock.

I'm also hearing from Razer that Anti got DQ'd, NOT forfeited.
