Bthrow is like, my main damage racker up close. Better than a jab combo, can lead to pummels for more damage at high percents, and can put the opponent in a bad position. If it killed, it would never be fresh for me anyway...

I LOVE doubles. Lol I'm probably better at doubles than I am at singles in all honesty… Idk I just enjoy playing the support character and reacting to my teammate's decisions. My roommate in college plays DK and I team with him all the time in friendlies and I've gotten pretty decent at randomly caping his throws or aerials for super early kills.

I've been playing with Pierce some this week and I'm really disappointed in my Mario. It might just be that he knows me well and the last tourney I went to was in May of 2011 but I felt really rusty/sloppy. I'm going to Uprise tomorrow and might end up pulling out my Snake that I've been working on recently. Might also do a double blind pick to trick people since people don't know about my Snake. So nice to land a two hit combo and deal 21%.

Also doubles is a lot of fun.

Yeah, I've been trying to avoid using smashes unless they're the only option that will work in a situation

there's almost always a better option than using kill moves for other reasons than killing

On one hand, I wanna believe you, Vato. You're a great player. 3rd best Diddy and Mario. But on the other I just don't see the merit of not using an extra 15% when it's basically given to you at such an early percent that you're bound to freshen it back up by the time you can actually consider using it to kill. By all means save the Dsmash for a kill until the right percent, but I'm gonna whip one out early on to get that percentage.

Besides, I tend to get my kills from utilt these days. Wonderful move, fresh.

honestly if you are going to use kill move for damage, it should be upsmash. High priority, combos, and a great OoS move. I would save dsmash for kills though, you can replace tilts and grabs for it most of the time.

I like to use Fsmash to rack up damage. People aren't nearly as wary of it at lower percentages and in high level play people are going to dodge it most of the time at high percents anyway, and it's easy to bait **** and do damage with it.

June 1st was my graduation date. Also, the red gowns were for girls here. Guys got black ones.

Some of my cousins had what was colloquially known as a Skittles (or M&Ms) graduation which consisted of having all the people who had to graduate late or over the summer from a bunch of schools have their ceremony at once so you had all sorts of colored gowns, lol.
