I'd like to test too. I'm having some friends coming over, so it'd be a good opportunity to test things out that CPUs can't.

Sign me up too! I've got Planet wisp (old) in my custom stage roster (along with Subspace, Abandoned Factory, Bowser's Castle, Mario Circuit X, New Pork City X, Kongo Jungle (Melee), Brinstar Depths, Peach's Castle 64, Yoshi's Story 64, Battlefield 64, and Final Destination 64.) and I like to see how it works in a stage expansion mod.

Started making a draft.

Oi! Getting the files ready and some instructions.

297 slots left.... I think is a reasonable amount.

Apology accepted.

Codex was right, you were rude. With me, and everyother moddler that did a Kirby stage.

Modding may seem easy to those who don't mod at all (you should imagine the absurd requests I've received[pornographic even]), but trying to deliver the best you can to people in order to have a bigger area of "likes" is what makes it difficult. But when they act like trying to rush things, or "OMG another one of these?" , and the fact that I must do my best with what I know and fail and retry with what I don't makes me ...annoyed.

You have expectations, and thats great because expectations is what moves me to do better. But be aware that there are some things I cannot do or wanna do. Such as pirating Return to Dream Land in order to get my models... create an extra hour every day so I can have more time modding... or clone myself an army of Scouts so I could rush things... it ain't my thing.

And Im pretty sure the rest applies to other moddlers. If we lose passion doing the stuff for you guys, we loose motivation to do it better!
Yeah, like once, I made a Roy costume for Roy, took me several months to get it to work perfectly. The hardest part is skinning.
I tried to make a stage once but couldn't get the textures working.
Texture hacks are as easy as eating a donut.

Woo! Never expected someone to revamp one of my stages, but it looks awesome now! I shall now be watching forever.

I can also give you Return to Dreamland models, since I saw you were wanting them.

Thank you and I'm glad you liked it! I loved that stage, and it certainly deserved a revamp!

I guess I should had told you that I was planning on working on it, or that I was already working on it, or atleast that I had finished working on it... but Im shy sometimes. Sorry about that ^_^' I imagine it took you by surprise.

And yes, I will totally love to have some more Return to Dreamland stage models!

Sure, just let me know which models you want and I'll PM them to you. But as a important note, RtD models are... unique. Basically you'll be getting a giant puzzle of stage pieces and have to piece together your stage in whatever model program you may use.

Pros
- You have total freedom on how you want your stage to look.
Cons
- Piecing it all together is very time consuming.

Alright!

Hey, Just want you to know you're great at stage hacks. Toy Time Galaxy and Planet Wisp have a lot of quality, they are like smash 3 quality stages if you ask me. Anyway I think that the vault needs more kirby stages so I've been asking if you could do this stage from Kirby's Return to Dreamland

It's Nutty Noon btw
(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm just happy you liked my suggestion! I really do think Green Hill while totally functional looks a bit awkward so I can't wait to offset it with my favorite zone in Sonic 2!

Also dat Bob-Omb Battlefield update got me all like :yeahboi:

...I could come up with a 7. for you.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
hmm watcha got in mind?

Hey Scout I found something you can use as a base
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_tG3au6o0M
I can do it from scratch once I get my hands on the model... using bases won't be nessesary.

Let's do Bomb-Omb battlefield next when were done with Wisp.
Certainly, I think Wisp will be lagless today, and if you guys are up for it, you can stay in the group to test Bomb-Omb Galaxy. Taiko is teaching me how to transform low poly models into high quality ones, I certainly need testers later once I get it stable enough.

I'm up for it too; so what stage does it use as a base?
STGFinal as well, for nor now that is. It all depends in the .pac size.

If the .pac size is a reasonable amount it can be ported onto other stages that are not moving or water stages. If its bigger than 3.00 MB it has to be ported onto Final or Luigi's if I would like to avoid lag.

However, I already made Toy Time over Luigi's... so I have to choose another.

How about if you offer me suggestions and I say if its porting possible or not.

Haha, that WAS partially a joke...
But I do actually have something in mind, if you're interested.
I actually started making it and gave up, so if you want what I have so far, I'll share it, it's an NES Controller!

On Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, my friend made a custom stage that's the buttons of the controller to battle on:
:GCDpad:__ __ :GCA::GCB:
It was super fun, so I thought I'd create a more literal version in Project M. The problem is that the textures would not work no matter what I did. I gave up on it since!
What I have is literally just an NES controller in Brawl Final Destination space. Not super fancy... Though I wish it could be, haha, a mayan-esque temple or statue theme would be AMAZING!!
I made two versions, a Famicom version, and an NES version, both used the same model.

I'll test Bob-omb Battlefield as well, (even though I wasn't really able to test Planet Wisp.)

The lazy way is to weld all the touch vertexes together and do Meshsmooth, if you're in 3DS Max.

Sure! It's been a while, so I'm not 100% sure on where I was when working on it previously, but everything most current is in the "current_version" folder. Everything else is just stuff I considered at different stages in development, Alpha versions, if you will. If you use a program other than 3DS Max, I may have to export the models as something else.
Badabing, download link.

As long as Bob-Omb Battlefield still works over Delfino I'll DEF help with that. I have it over there with a collection of various Mario 64/Platformer songs.

Although IDK if you need like, individual testers OR new ones, I'm not sure. If you don't need new ones my bad entirely lol!

got it! I'll see what I can do!

I would like new testers, do you wish to join when Bomb Omb Battlefield slot opens?
Yes, I definitely would love to help! I'm a fan of that stage so, I'll do anything in my power! Also sign me up for Hill Top even though that's probably like 2-3 months down the line! I'll remember!

Speaking of Hill Top, EZ BRSTM suggestion (this is what made me think it'd be a good stage actually lol)

Woops forgot to quote, got it, I'll see what I can do!

I use 3DS MAX 2013, with edit poly and smoothing/vertexing.
