as for mii's.... It's not so much me saying they WON'T be in brawl.....I just hate them alot :p so thier on my sig........

This thread has an insane genius to it, and yet...as neat an idea it could be for a joke character, if they DID do something like this, I get the feeling it wouldn't be the final character ala G&W. I get the feeling it would be more a new franchise character for the final unlock...but that's just me and my speculation.

Also, has anyone asked how he would hold/use normal items? Or grab and throw, for that matter?

Magikarp would be the absolute best WTF character if he were to be like how you described him. Doesn't stand much of a chance, but would be very, very awesome.

Alright Dain pwnd me on that one. I forgot Munchlax was 4th generation since he was in the Deoxys movie, that kinda went over my head right there. Personal thought, if Muncklax is a poke ball pokemon, does that mean that Snorlax could get axed as a pokeball pokemon? Oh, and I do think Lucario would be cool, but Magikarp's WTF factor is irresistable.

G-Rabbit: I'd like to see the 'Lax line as pokeballs- it would be cool if there was some effect with both of them onstage.
Fawriel and MK: Magikarp would be amazingly WTF because it would be the first Smash character without feet.

Odlanier: Yea it would be cool to see the big guy come back since he's been in it since the 64 version of Smash Bros., but i can't see a pokemon AND it's evolved form both coming out of a pokeball.

Maybe this means Snorlax is the next PC. (No chance, but a nice thought)

I had an idea to have Magikarp as a pokéball pokémon, who would splash around longer than Goldeen. If he gets hit enough then he evolves into Gyarados and murders. Having him as a playable character never crossed my mind. Cheers on the originality of this idea.

I wish Snorlax would be a PC. He is awesome. And the second point is true.

Oh, and the Parasect picture refuses to work for me too, now...

I commend you for your originality and as obscure as Magikarp is, I like this idea, but I don't see it working.

I can't imagine a character simply flopping around to move, it sounds too complicated and most of all, difficult. I know it takes practice with each character to master, but I think trying to make Magikarp move and manuever around the stage would just be a pain in the you know what.

as much as i love this i just can't see it happening. maybe for the next game if we all vote for it. if by chance magikarp does make it in that be sweet.

That seems more likely something they might do...and I would find it awesome if they did. The useless Pokéball that isn't so useless after all.

Holy ****, I clicked the link to this thread thinking I was going to read some inane, crazy idea, but after reading this thread I REALLY want to see him in brawl!

Imagine his story for adventure mode! He can be that one character that no one notices, and simply progresses through the game, story wise by being at the same place as other characters and simply listening in on their conversations. In fact, he could be an unlockable character, and when you play as him, you'd see him just slightly off camera in some of the character intros and in some of the other clips for other characters. In fact, he could go from stage to stage accidentally, and not out of his own free will! For example, someone could step on him bringing him to the next stage with them. I would love to see magicarp, possibly as an unlockable, just because it would be so hilarious.
