MadWorld has more coverage than Sonic and the Black Knight

MadWorld has more videos and articles devoted to it. It's unusual that Sega isn't sharing a little more information about Sonic, being their mascot.

This game looks awesome. Wii doesn't get much of these games, so I'm particularly happy.

exaaaactly.

Unusual? Yes. Surprising? No. I'm sure Sega knows the game is going to suck and all Sonic fans are going to be outraged for the umpteenth time (despite CONTINUING to mindlessly buy Sonic games), just like they knew with the Werehog levels in Unleashed, so they're keeping it under wraps to add mystery and suspense and make more money.

Mad World, sucky or not, is on its road to becoming very successful. I don't think it looks good at all, or even special, but everyone and their grandma does, so it's going to get sales.

In short, Sega is NOT hyping Sonic & The Black Knight because they know its title will give it enough of that and doesn't want to turn off fans by actually letting them know about the game. Sega IS hyping Mad World because it's a totally new game and needs the hype to get more sales.

tl;dr: Sega is manipulating hype to get sales.
