I'm KR, pretty new to everything. I'm willing to go to a few get-togethers. Anywhere within an hour from Boston is fine for me. Bi-weekly things sound cool. I could ask some of my friends if they would be willing to host...

If WPI (Worcester, MA) was to host something once a week, would anyone be interested in attending?

Perhaps the bi-weeklies could take place in two separate locations.

yo **** tom that **** is TOO XPENSIVE, plus i dun have your cell phone charger, who u think i am? I'm reno, fool! I came up with soup that one time to play @ that bowling alley ... that tournament.. that lasted 12 hours.. and we ended up getting lost.. cause we were looking for a dennys ... and.. then.. we had the worst... ****ing... mcdonalds ever....

and then ya drove us to the bus stop which was maddddddddd chilllllllllllllll! !! ! ! ! ! !

But regardless... ***** get yo *** down to nyc son, dont make me start speakin' spanglish on your ***.

***** I thought you was someone else son but you should try to come up use soup's modeling money to come down son that ***** makes mad loot modeling. That ***** is still not prettier than me son lol. If I don't see you are you going to anime boston son?

For those of you in eastern Mass, the future MSTs (Maine Smash Tournaments) could have a new venue that is much closer, on the order of 1-2 hr drive. Anyone north of Boston the drive should be a little over an hour. (according to Mapquest) But if you speed, which most people do, then it will be even less.

Anyway, just thought you guys would want to know. The Maine players are very good (did very well at Cataclysm too) and are really looking to attract out of staters. This tournament would be great practice and you'll see several of the players from NH there as well.

So. Are there any more events coming up in MA? I know there's a MST in 2 weeks, but I don't think I can go to that.

We need to get this Bi-Weeklies thing going.

I'm going to be hosting a tournament in Lowell, MA, in April 14th. Just get the word out. It'll be in a very BIG venue. I want this to be BIG.

Best. Timing. Ever. That's the start of my April vacation, and then Anime Boston the next week.

The only reason I wouldn't be there would be because of funds, which is possible. I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen.

$15 singles
$10 doubles ($20 per team)
$10 (IIRC) 2 man crew battle?
$3 door fee

Discuss how much Anime Boston smash will suck. It's FFA with items, only 1st man goes on, single elimination, 64 player cap.

Who else things this is completely bogus?

yea im new here, and m using my friends account at the moment, but i agree tht those rules are kinda ridiculous, also im a mass player thats willing to contribute togetting back on the map. although i can't go to koreandj's tourney. let me know if you are holding any over april vacation.

I love how at tourneys like Boston Anime the winner thinks he is so good but half the time if they went to a regular tourney they would get owned.

There is a smashfest this saturday at my place a pretty decent amount of people are showing up. Everyone is welcome to come.

MA gotta step it up! haha the ninja turtles is dead! sike we are just going through some tough times and I do what ever it takes to represent along with dj and **** thomas. soon as my bros and i are settled u can expect to see some fest. as of now i gonna have to train mr Jholla and Pro to level up! We gonna beef em up and make em reach power level 5000! :D So far theres tourneys like every saturday soooo thats training right there haha sooo training starts saturday at jhollas tournament!!! :D i apologize if i am not very active on the smashboards i mostly look at tournament results and happenings.
