Luigi's official new names. (Finalized)

[PimpUigi]

First, the four brought over from Melee.

Green & Blue: New School Luigi
White & Green: Old School Luigi (NES colors from SMB1)
Blue and Blue: The Squigi
Pink and Red: PimpUigi

And now the two new colors for Brawl

Orange and Blue: CheezUigi
Purple and Blue: FunkUigi

I will keep this list updated and edited to reflect any changes.

Is there a story for why blue Luigi is called the Squigi?

Not that I'm against naming the alternate costumes or anything, but that is a question that
I've been wondering about.

Eljin always used to play the blue Luigi, and everyone always yelled at him that he was a Squigi, cause he'd kill everyone out of no where with up B's.

<3 Squigi. That was my old color before I started using Old School, though I did like Bluigi as a name also. FunkUigi is a fantastic name, though I don't know about Hallowiiji. But I haven't really been able to come up with a good name for the Orange/Blue, even though it's my most used color in Brawl next to Old School.

Yea, I'll definitely change the orange one if someone presents a better name for him that fits the two syllable rule.

ThugUigi doesn't work.
PunkUigi doesn't work.
GothUigi doesn't work.
KillUigi doesn't even make sense.
BrawlUigi kind of works, but...yea

So, it's not clicking with orange.

HallowUigi was the best one so far, but it doesn't fit the two Syllable rule.

He says his name is FunkUigi, and he plays the FunkUigi color, and his controller is purple and black, and has an upside down L on it.

They need to be named for naming's sake. New and Old School, Squigi, and Pimpuigi are traditions. At some point in time I've played them all, so the fact that they're named just adds to the character. FunkUigi definitely has a ring to it, and I like it better than Waluigi, even if that is the point of the costume. As for the orange one, I play with him a lot, and the people around here call me CheeseUigi. You could spell it differently, I suppose, to make it look better. But that's at least how we pronounce it. It still seems a bit long, but I like it just the same.

EDIT: CheezUigi, perhaps?

Just putting it out there, but I think the orange costume originated from the 1980s Mario Anime

All Luigi names are supposed to be two syllables, to keep with the Luigi rules.

We couldn't just call him PimpLuigi, it was too many syllables, that's why Dukey Brown Mario said "Take out the L!"
It was magic right there.
PimpUigi was born.

And especially if people are already calling you CheezUigi, then it's like another piece of magic in the making.
Possibly at least.
