I always thought they were too similar to be used together, whenever my friend and I try we mess up horrible. Maybe we are just bad bros xD.Look around the pages before you post a topic. Who knows? It might end up being the same

Mario & Luigi = tag team = massive nintedo rapeage end of discussion. Both make up for each other's weaknesses that's my arguement
I think from that list, wolf would be the best partner, He is quick and powerful with a decent projectile game that suits Luigi. At least thats what i think.would kirby and luigi make a good couple? jsut wonderin im thinking of starting to play doubles but my close friends main sonic (HATE IT) link , wolf , marth , and ike. can anyone be a decent partner?
QFT. Haven't tried teaming with Wolf, but teaming with DDD is ****. Make sure you spam other stuff often to keep your up-Bs powerful for when they get the grabs.Wolf
Down throw to Luigi's up B
DDD is okay too
DDD is really good with Luigi, as is G&W too. Catch someone with nair or bair and Luigi can strike an UpB or Smash out of G&W's multi hit attacks. I suppose this could work with anyone's multi hit, but G&W can also be a boost in Luigi's recovery, shooting him out of danger (UpB or Uair) or getting him towards the stage without Luigi have to use jumps/special.Wolf

You don't need to worry about UpB degrading, if you use it at the right times, it should recharge itself from other moves. But if you want to make sure, just have a good fireball game, thats what i do to recharge decayed moves (like a bad fsmash that doesn't KO o_O).QFT. I always found Luigi more to be the strategic team player who gets in Shoryukens and Gimps are the right spot. A good Luigi partner helps the man in green if he is getting edgeguarded though, I think thats Luigi's hardest problem in team play.Well, I play Luigi like I played Jiggs in teams in Melee so it tends to be used more often than once per 9 attacks connected. The entire strategy revolves around setting up grabs/openings/using my teammate as bait for lots of low damage gimp KOs with it, lol.
UpB and then sticky c4 sounds like overkill, but that would be cool xD.Snake + Luigi = ****
dthrow to upB
or Snake's sticky c4 detonated after a Luigi upB
too much ****
Eh...overkill or not, if its two on one and you grab someone >100% for that UpB, i wouldn't complain. If you can actually hold them in a grab for more than like one second without them mashing out, then using an up-b to kill them is definitely overkill. That's why it's good, because you don't need to be pretty much right next to them when they land the grab to do it when under like 100 damage.
Agreed, Game&Watch can really help out Luigi's recovery. But its kind of contradictory to say GW is a good partner, then say anyone with good grab range is a good character. GW has lame grab range, less than Luigi's iirc.Luigi is one of those beautiful team characters like g+w that have one move that does so well with some help. Anyone with a good grab range should be **** with luigi just because of the shoryuken.
