Lucina Thread [Closing]

That there are. There are really good games already out as well. I really recommend snagging one soon! I was tentative at first, but ever since getting mine with the Mario Kart 8 bundle, I've had zero regrets. It's a fun system, that sits proudly next to my Xbox One and 360 on my desk.

In regards to unlocking Lucina, I kinda excepted it. Of course, I was really hoping to be able to play her right away, but unlocking her will make finally getting to play her all the more fantastic in my mind.

I got the Wind Waker HD bundle. Hopefully Lucina is one of the first characters you unlock. Also, which fathers other than Robin can make Gerome a Dark Knight?

If she's at least playable, like, mid tier? Absolutely.

I will frequently use her either way, but, if she's bottom 5 with awful matchups everywhere or unfun, I'd hesitate to call her my main.

Love Lucina but Smash is so packed with characters I love that if she's just unfit or unfun I can undoubtedly find another character I love who isn't those things.

If she's decent and fun, though, her all the way.

Probably a week from this Friday, since I am planning to post a chapter every other week. I'd like to go quicker than that, but considering I have another ongoing story as well, that's the best I can do without burning myself out and/or eating up all my free time.

I had already accepted the fact I'd have to unlock all the characters I want to play, since I mean, I mained Toon Link in Brawl anyways, so I knew from the start I'd have to unlock at least one of my mains (I plan to also main Robin, Lucina, and Megaman thing time around, instead of just being a one-trick pony so to speak)

Speaking of Lucina, has there been any new info on how Lucina's gameplay will differ from Marths (besides the whole tipping vs equal distribution thing). I do recall them mentioning she will have "almost identical" power, speed, and move set, but does anyone know what that could entail. My guess for move set would be that her regular attacks might have a few subtle differences then Marth, while her special attacks are identical, but besides that I can't really decipher what they meant.

To my knowledge there isn't any new info on Lucina yet. It's up to the Japanese(and the English speaking crew over there) to find out.

Out of curiosity, what builds do you go with for Lucina in your games?

In my current Lunatic run-through I have Sumia!Lucina running Galeforce, Aether, Luna, Pavise, and Limmit Break. This works fairly well, since she has a 28% chance to trigger Aether, and then a 40.3% chance of Luna triggering, so 68.3% chance of an attack doing extra dmg

I eventually plan to do a FemRobin x Chrom playthrough, in which Lucina can become the best support unit in the game, with her running Dual Strike +, Dual Defense +, Dual Support +, Amthema, and Bond

What I understand:

Ohh, I like how it looks like her four possible parents besides FemaleRobin are included in there, with her hair color matching said mother and her outfit's colors matching

Third picture = Olivia (though it could also be Cherche, which would ruin all four mothers being represented)
Fourth picture = Sully (could also be Cordelia, since similar color scheme)
Sixth picture = Maribelle (could also be Lissa)
Eighth picture = Sumia

The other three look like they correspond to other female characters who can't be Lucina's mother, with the second picture being Nowi, the fifth picture being Tiki, and the seventh picture being Tharja.

I take it off after KOing my opponent or when playing with friends who are in the same room, thus I can cause them physical harm should they decide to be jerks and attack during the taunt.
