Sakurai made a tweet about the Lucina figma... do you think she's in the game?

I think this disconfirms her Amiibo.

Instead they'll add a mask accessory that you can attach to Marth's, thus unlocking Lucina.

Being a figma, I'm sure they will include swappable accessories/faces. Unless you meant pictures of the figurine unmasked, haha.

As far as I know, the figures are both made by Good Smile/Max Factory company, and the Tharja one is indeed a statue (along with the upcoming Cordelia one IIRC), but it isn't under the "figma" line-up. Figmas are usually pose-able, with changeable parts, so no need to worry about the Lucina one being stuck as "Marth".

I think the average prices for figmas start about from $30 and up, but for positive, it's best to get them earlier on than later because prices can skyrocket due to figurines becoming out of print.

With the inclusion of characters like Lucina and Robin, Fire emblem grows more and more prominent in Super Smash Bros!

As such, it would seem the series has grown enough to warrant a few more assist trophies to pull from it's vast quantity of characters. In fact, Fire Emblem has such an enormous cast that perhaps it even warrants a unique item similar to the poke-ball, maybe use those summoning cards from the awakening dlc?

So, what characters are you yearning to see appear as Fire Emblem assists?
And are there any snazzy quotes you would want them to say upon entering battle?

I'd like some Pegasus knight action similar to latios and latias (though those wario-ware ninjas already do that as well) but maybe as a more horizontal version. Cordelia or Sumia would fit nicely if one wanted to pull from the most recent fire emblem.

Hi! My first time here, I feel kinda bad, cause I always thought Lucina would just be a cool alt with her own voice actor and stuff, but she got her own slot which is awesome! I only ever expected one FE newcomer, and I was thinking Robin, but I'm happy I was wrong and we got both! I actually came here cause I realized I had a lot of thoughts about Lucina but never posted em here! Basically I think her being a clone is cool and she's awesome.

I've used Marth sometimes and he's kinda fun, but I could never really get into it, y'know? Maybe it's cause I felt like everyone was already so much better than me with Marth? But I dunno, I see Lucina and I know she probably wont be my most played character but she'll definitely outrank some other fighters (like Marth)

Her taking off and putting on mask taunt is so cool and stylish that I know I'll be using it a lot, haha! And it makes me wonder about other characters doing similar things? But yeah, those are my thoughts, she's cool, that's it I guess!

I really like that Cordelia/Sumia idea as well, that'd be really nice.

How about incorporating Hector or Eliwood in some way? Maybe Hector/Eliwood can be like another Magnus assist?

Indeed she has.
I actually hoped she'd be a Playable Character back in Brawl times, hehe.

It would be really nice if FE could get some variety of assist trophies showing off different types of units, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if there's any more new ATs we haven't seen yet!

Well, if she can't make it into the game as an Assist Trophy, then maybe at the very least, she can just settle with being a regular trophy.

Another candidate for an AT that I'd like to see would be Tiki. I can just imagine her shooting Dragonstone blasts across the battlefield!

Thank you! Also, what the heck is the "enemy attack range feature"? I feel like you're going to respond with some insanely useful feature that I'm going to feel like a complete moron for not knowing now, lol.

It's cool. I wouldnt have realized it immediately because it wasnt it previous games. But it's what this guy said:

If you press the Y button you will see the range in which enemies can reach and attack you. Attack range is pink, range for healing/buffing staves of the enemies is green
There's literally no reason to ever have this off.

by the way, just went to san diego comic con and they play the trailer on a loop in the nintendo lounge and the nintendo booth. I just had to stop and marvel at the trailer when it played. I took a picture of it too. I always get excited at that last shot with all four FE heroes:

Perhaps an AT of Elincia & Ephraim, they could attack with a dash until the limit of the stage, Elincia to the left and Ephraim to the right... something like a weaker version of Critical Finish....

I would like a Wyvern Rider too... Cherche would be great...

If they did cover her up enough, I'd be all for her inclusion. She's a superb character in Awakening.

I don't think there will be another Fire Emblem assist trophy, but if there is, I hope it's not anyone from Awakening unless it's Tiki or Anna (and then, only because they aren't solely from Awakening). Awakening is great, but it has enough representation in the game with two playable characters and a stage. We need some Magvel or Jugdral representation. Maybe Eirika and Ephraim can do something similar to Latios & Latias and Kat & Ana, but obviously not with the flying thing.

Cherche is a unit I didn't really use in my first play-through of Awakening, but I'm using her now and holy crap she is awesome! She is a great combination of tank and mobility .

I do understand wanting to rep other eras of FE, but if we treated fire emblem assists like we did pokeballs, it would make most sense to draw from the most recent generation.

Jk, she is quite popular in Japan I believe, plus showing of dark magic would help round out fire emblem to being more than just blue haired dudes fighting with swords (and Robin). That's the main reason I am hoping for more assist trophies, to show the variety FE has to offer.

I want micaiah as an assist trophy if not a character, I would also like a paladin character that goes around the stage and stabs people, or even better a flying assist like a pegasus knight or a wyvern rider.

And did you guys notice that you can hurt assist trophies in this game? not just starfy, I saw characters hitting lyn and making her flinch, and I even saw pikachu jumping on magnus from kid icarus, it would be interesting to see how long certain assist trophies can take damage

I knew about Isabelle's adorable little dodge but was Unaware of the others. That does mix things up considerably!
