Child characters start with high stats (specifically, the average of their actual base stats, and the current stats of the two parents). They also have higher caps, since they inherit the caps from their parents combined, and get a free +1 to all caps for being children. They're kind of broken.
I know that. :)

Whose the mom?
Lucina.
And her mom is Olivia.

...yeah. My family is broken. In more than one way.

I love that Olivia provides Luci with Astra/Vantage/Swordfaire, but my heart always magnetically ships ChromXSumia (although I prioritize FeMUXChrom over Sumia )

That's everyone's favorite mother for Lucina.
A lot of people like Sumia too (not for her actual character, mind you) since Chrom passes on Aether to Cynthia, while Inigo doesn't really get any use out of Rightful King (outside of Streetpass trolling lethality).

It's actually rather humorous. Ever since my first file, I always paired Sumia with Henry since I loved their supports (come on, trading bodies to experience what they can't normally experience...), and paired Chrom with Olivia (not counting my one FeMU file). My next file I'm going to pair Chrom with Sumia to get the powerhouse Cynthia, and will pair Olivia with Henry since he's the ONLY FATHER in the game that doesn't compare Inigo to Lucina in their C Support.

It's like they're swingers without that even being my intention.

I can't find Henry x Inigo's father x son support convo anywhere

Personally I think she'll be unlockable. Either by beating Classic mode with Marth or Robin (One being her counterpart, the other being from the game she's featured in).

Or to throw a twist in maybe you get her unlocked when you beat the game with all three Fire Emblem reps (Which I think will be starters),

Yeah, I'd expect her to be unlocked fairly easily by beating a particular mode (probably Classic) with Marth. If she's more beginner-friendly, it would be somewhat unintuitive to make people wait ages before being able to unlock her. :p

I'm pretty sure all support conversations are on the Fire Emblem wikia page. :p I go there every time I habitually hit Start to skip support conversations without actually wanting to.

You know if you do skip them in game, you can access them in the bonus section of the title menu.

Just completed my forth playthrough! Think I might do another RobinxLucina playthrough next.
Also, who should I make Lucina's mom? I was thinking Sully this time around?

I've had FE:A for a while, but never actually beat it because it was my first FE game and I completely sucked at it. Going to restart the game and go through again, not sure what mode though. Any tips?

Well firstly, I would recommend Normal/Casual or Normal/Classic.

I'm not too great at the game myself, but one thing I'm say is that the simplified menu is unreliable. Always use the classic menu that displays all the stats.
If you're attacking an enemy and it looks like you're going to die when using that menu, it's probably because you are.

Pick every couple of opposite gender characters you like together and pair them up.
Those supports will make the game a lot smoother, especially on Normal/Casual.

I think Normal Classic should be fine. Just don't be afraid to restart. If you're having trouble, I would recommend doing some grinding in between chapters against Risen.

The other thing I recommend is pick a core cast you want to develop. Doesnt matter the reasons you pick them, just stick with them. And balance the cast out with some magic users, a healer, a fast unit, a tank, etc. I think not doing so throws off some newcomers. The final level requires Chrom + 15, so don't develop anything more than that for your first run through.

Okay, thanks. May I ask what you mean by grinding? I mean, I know what you mean, but can you go back into older chapters?

Also, one problem I had before and need a bit of help with is that enemies almost always try and tackle my healers and kill them. I've paired them up and tried surronding them for more protection, but this usually ends up with them either still being hit or another person dying.

Risen appear in the chapters you have already defeated after a while. Their level corresponds to what chapter they are on, roughly. So the Risen that appear on Chapter 1 will be as hard chapter 1's enemies. So when you are on Chapter 10, you can get some quick experience points by fighting Risen on earlier levels.

Two things I would recommend. First, depending on your gald, always try to equip all your units with vulneraries, or the proper healing item that corresponds to your point in the game. Don't be afraid to use them, but also be mindful of it.
In terms of protecting healers, always keep them outside enemy range. Always utilize the enemy attack range feature with the healer in mind. I don't really ever bring more than one non-attacking healer in the first half of the game. I usually pick one out of the two (Lissa or Maribelle) and stick with them throughout the game. If they aren't leveling up or progressing to your satisfaction, remember that as soon as one of your mages promotes to a sage or a falcon knight, they can use heal. Sages are especially useful since their magic stat should be strong allowing their healing to be good regardless of their staff weapon level.

Thank you! Also, what the heck is the "enemy attack range feature"? I feel like you're going to respond with some insanely useful feature that I'm going to feel like a complete moron for not knowing now, lol.

If you press the Y button you will see the range in which enemies can reach and attack you. Attack range is pink, range for healing/buffing staves of the enemies is green
There's literally no reason to ever have this off.

It always bothered me you couldn't pair Say'ri, Anna or Tiki with Not-Robin. I mean seriously.

Sakurai made a tweet about the Lucina figma... do you think she's in the game?
