Now that Marth is more of a ground based character, it would be awesome if Lucina was more of a air based character.

She's already in Smash 5.So Fire Emblem is rather notorious about having an inconsistent cast. Do you think Lucina will make it in Smash 5?
..Really? I felt it was sort of saying the same thing over and over again. The feels. That was pretty well written.
A good chance she will star in her own game, since there are now two Lucinas running around and one just mysteriously disappeared. I am sure a lot of Awakening fans would want a game that focuses on the children characters, and Chrom can serve more as a guardian/advisory figure instead of a protagonist. So Fire Emblem is rather notorious about having an inconsistent cast. That's actually exactly what I want to happen.A good chance she will star in her own game, since there are now two Lucinas running around and one just mysteriously disappeared. Don't take 'well written' too seriously. I just mean that it was effective at evoking emotions and sounded like what Chrom would say...Really? I felt it was sort of saying the same thing over and over again.
Marth is on the box art though meaning he's likely a starterI'm guessing unlockable, but really easy to unlock. That's been the pattern for FE characters.
Then again, since she's a noob-friendly Marth she may be the starter while he's the unlockable.
Please no. Either use the Lucina we know, or have her somehow develop to be nearly the same. I don't want another Trunks fiasco, where everyone loved the Future version and then the present version gets written into the story via a time skip and ends up just being an unlikeable annoyance. That's actually exactly what I want to happen.
Though, as I mentioned before, the game would star the present time Lucina instead of the dark future one (the one we care about)
Again, she's a lot more carefree and mischievous as a result of hanging around Lissa.
Chrom has a beard. He must have a beard.
I agree. The Majin Buu saga would have been tons better without kid Trunks, as well as Goten. They were so annoying. Please no. I don't see it happening to be the case that the next game stars the original Lucina, unless they added a third tier again. Present Lucina could potentially learn of future Lucina and try to become more like her older self, though. Perhaps that could even turn out to be an interesting character development; she tries to emulate herself from another timeline and it doesn't turn out the way it should. Please no. You make a good point but to me that'd be kinda strange, I think it makes more sense if Lucina is just one of the first characters to be unlocked, that way you get her after very minimal playtime (which in all honesty would probably make more people play her initially than if she was a starter, if you get me)Maybe they're both starters with Ike being the locked character.Roy's probably a locked character. Marth can't be unlockable since he's on the cover. Lucina's an easier Marth so it'd be weird for her to be locked (considering she's like the practice version of Marth)
pretty much thisI think all clones will be unlockable as well as third-parties and Luigi. Its also possible some characters are starters only one one version, but unlockable on others, such as Ike being unlockable on 3DS and Robin on Wii U, but Mart is definitely a starter now, he's on the cover.
Lucina is practically guaranteed to be unlockable.

No, no, not like Kid Trunks ( they do have the same VA though). Please no. Either use the Lucina we know, or have her somehow develop to be nearly the same. They could make a situation that builds to her having a serious personality, like maybe some War across Akainea, or something. Personally, I feel making her childish without having an serious nature would just ruin her character like Trunks. Sure, the future and present Lucina will turn out different due to experiences, but I wouldn't say as drastic as that. Personally, I feel she would be different by not having guilt of her father's death on her shoulders, good enough. No, no, not like Kid Trunks ( they do have the same VA though).
I mean, it wouldn't make sense for Lucina to so dour and serious if she didn't live in the apocalypse.
Kid Trunks was just that, a kid. Ideally the time skip would be so that she is the age as future Lucina.

I didn't think that she would be included in Smash, although I hoped so anyways, and here she is as a playable character! Without a doubt, I will main her. My hype levels skyrocketed when she waschromfirmedconfirmed. (Although I'm still a little sad Chrom isn't a character ;p)
