I can't figure out how to use the Side-B move while on the ground with the Project M Lucina. Anyone know how?

Whew, I decided on an Awakening induced whim to read almost the entirety of this thread in one setting.. something I don't remotely regret. Many laughs were had.

Anyway, (as late as I am to this) I'm definitely a Lucina supporter, regardless of leak validity or any "actual inclusion chances". In my mind, she's just superior to any other Awakening representation option, and a wonderful character that I'd love to see get more limelight. Though I'm happy if Marth and Ike end up being our only FE reps, I'd be ecstatic if Lucina showed up, and more than pleasantly surprised if we got any other 3rd rep from FE. I can't wait to see what happens regardless of which of those paths are taken.

A couple notes I feel like I have to make: That whole "Lucina as alternate Marth skin" stuff was literally HARD to read for me, and progressively so x_x. I feel sorry for you guys who had to deal with it for months and months! Also, I LOVE the hope you guys are keeping in this forum, especially after e3. It's really encouraging, and has made this thread one of my favorite places to go to on the boards. Keep it up guys!

I think people who think speed, power and range are the only things that make a character are pretty stupid, Characters are made by every single move, the exact hitbox it has, the frames it has on hitbox, landing, startup, ending, and so on. Characters are made only for a small part by their general movement and that allready is more then just speed.

Power also kind of speaks for nothing. What is power? having 1 move that kills most characters around 120% and is pretty easy to land(Snake Utilt) or having 10 moves in your moveset that can KO on 80% but are hard as hell to conect. I think power is more then just being able to deal knockback. I think power means how good a character is at landing KO's and on what % they can kill which is also pretty hard to guess because Some characters can kill at 30% like MK can off-stage but his power is never seen as being one of the best.

then we have range. I think people don't really know what range is. Range is ofcourse how far your hitbox can reach but not only that. Marths Shield breaker has great range but isn't that great overall because it can't really hit vertical. meaning the overall hitbox is not that great as moves like Fair. Range is as far as I can tell how much space a hitbox can cover and this is in many diffrent ways importante. Range is worthless if the opponent can punish you easily for it anyway.

Like I said, there are so many things that make a character, Hell even other characters can make your character because if the specific character MU's. If we had 1 MK counter in brawl that character would be used really often.

Lucina should not be related to Marth in any way. Yes I think her movement should be better, but if this is grounded or in the air, maybe even falling speed, did you consider walking when talking about speed? This **** goes far, in fact way to far to even compare a new character to another one.

So let's drop the Marth-Lucina subject. It's not relevant in any way :(
Lucina should have mach tornado btw, top tier confirmed :troll:

Welcome my friend!!!
We indeed are funny so and laughing is awesome so let us all laugh because we can!
We do hate those Lucina=marth comments but I just don't read them if I know it is about that:p Works great.
What kind of supporters would we be if we would drop our hope eh? :) Not that great and since Lucina should have supporters we keep up the work(keeping this thing on the front page like a boss)

I want to make this post a Little bit cooler so :ace::ace::ace::ace:

I just read every post in this thread. I am impressed with all the movesets and Lucina love I've seen.
Oh how badly I want Father and Daughter to fight together in Smash T_T and Lucina to beat upon this Marth imposter.

Welcome @ Another K-2L Survivor Another K-2L Survivor !

Indeed, Lucina and Marth are not even the same bag, baby. Especially now that Marth has been clearly spotting for Ike at the gym.

I'm a bit tipsy atm.

First time. I like my gin, it turns out!

Also, I love this girl. I want her in Smash bros. NEED her in Smash bros. My life will not be complete until I have murdered every single Smash 4 character with the best, boldest and prettiest Exalt. Come on, Nintendo, don't keep the best character you have from me. Pleaaaaase.

I gotta say, I really like the idea of Lucina's Final Smash involving Chrom. While I'm not keen on the idea of another blue-haired swordsman, I don't dislike Chrom at all. It makes good use of the pairing mechanic from Awakening and gives him a memorable role (well, one that's not playable) in the game.

LMAO I DO want to say that Lucina means a hell of a lot to me. First off, I do not have a crush on Lucina. (FYI, that's okay. Fiction creates personas and really well made personas are supposed to be real, and a huge aspect of their reality is that you can like them - admire them, respect them, be invested in their stories, and yes, totally have a crush on them. It's a sign of a well-made character. That aside, though -) Lucina is a REALLY great character. I was deeply invested in her narrative arc, because there was so much told and implied there. The fact that she's had to cope with so much. I don't think she's older than sixteen or seventeen, yet she's had to shoulder the burden of fighting for not just her life, but of those she cares about and beyond. Of Tiki, of Gerome, of her sibling, and of her people. How much guilt must she have had to deal with? Does she blame herself for not being stronger or accept the grim reality of her time and fate? We know from Future Past that strong as she is she can't bear to see people die for her, and she is simultaneously the only one who is capable of defeating this huge threat to the world and must keep herself alive at all costs in spite of being selfless and wanting to shoulder all the burdens in the world. This is a wonderful person with a wonderful story that was sadly left mostly untold and unexplored. I think that also betrays a bit of IS's favoritism, the fact that the Future Past DLCs were made and focused on the bleak future. It was REALLY good, really moving and Lucina was the focus of this three-map arc, and while everyone does shine here, everyone from Brady to Noire to Nah to Yarne, Lucina is there, the radiant Awakened Exalt. Goddamn how I wish this had been Awakening. But oh well.

tldr Lucina is wonderful, Smash is wonderful, she totally needs to be in it. There aren't enough awesome female characters and really Lucy is one of the best in gaming.

He'd be the biggest item. :troll:

What if Chrom is a stage hazard?
Chrom blushes, then grabs the nearest opponent and hugs them to death. :awesome:
Hubba Tester confirmed for next Fire Emblem stage. Watch out! The Awakening cast is thirsty!

The player who lands the finishing blow on Chrom will form an S-Rank with him, becoming his wife/hubbie in the process. He will then team up with the player against everyone else and, in the end, create Lucina together.

Then she turns to us Lucina supporters and we destroy te evil:troll:

Edit: @ Thane of Blue Flames Thane of Blue Flames Sometimes you'd wish there where actual people like some of the characters you find in games.

Well, she's not usually intentionally funny. I find several of her supports to be hilarious though, particularly the one with non-mother avatar, as well as with her actual mother.

From my experience, people who generally prefer RPGs have funnier online personas than others :awesome:

But yeah, in support conversations, Lucina is secretly a comedian.

Fixed:awesome:

Would be mad funny if you could do support conversations on the FE stages with FE characters in smash :troll:

Oh definitely. I laugh so hard at that one every time.

It would be amazing. I've really been hoping that they implement something akin to the Starfox character's and Snake's codex conversations from brawl into smash4, and it being FE related would be perfect.

At the very least, it would really cool if Fire Emblem characters had context-sensitive victory quotes when they defeat each other.

I mean, I think Lucina would have something to say after defeating the hero king of legend. Ike, all the same, is considered the strongest hero of the seven realms. Besting him in combat would be an honour.

Wow, I haven't been posting on Smashboards in a while, last time I checked this thread, June 12th, I think, we were on page 15. Now this thread is on it's 25th page in just 2 weeks. Respect for you guys, and I'll now visit this thread often, again.

At the very least, seeing other FE character's appear in the victory screen isn't too far fetched, especially when you look to Little Mac's victory screens, with that inclusion of a non-playable character.
