I never played Project M. :'(I can't figure out how to use the Side-B move while on the ground with the Project M Lucina. Anyone know how?
Welcome my friend!!!Whew, I decided on an Awakening induced whim to read almost the entirety of this thread in one setting.. something I don't remotely regret. Many laughs were had.
Anyway, (as late as I am to this) I'm definitely a Lucina supporter, regardless of leak validity or any "actual inclusion chances". In my mind, she's just superior to any other Awakening representation option, and a wonderful character that I'd love to see get more limelight. Though I'm happy if Marth and Ike end up being our only FE reps, I'd be ecstatic if Lucina showed up, and more than pleasantly surprised if we got any other 3rd rep from FE. I can't wait to see what happens regardless of which of those paths are taken.
A couple notes I feel like I have to make: That whole "Lucina as alternate Marth skin" stuff was literally HARD to read for me, and progressively so x_x. I feel sorry for you guys who had to deal with it for months and months! Also, I LOVE the hope you guys are keeping in this forum, especially after e3. It's really encouraging, and has made this thread one of my favorite places to go to on the boards. Keep it up guys!
Quoting everything you say while drunk posting to immortalize it forever.SO
I'm a bit tipsy atm.
First time. I like my gin, it turns out!
Also, I love this girl. I want her in Smash bros. NEED her in Smash bros. My life will not be complete until I have murdered every single Smash 4 character with the best, boldest and prettiest Exalt. Come on, Nintendo, don't keep the best character you have from me. Pleaaaaase.

^ Not quote worthy, baby
You know that having to meet the father and family is always the awkward first step in a relationship.BUGGER OFF CHROM SHE'S MINE
FixedActually, come to think of it, what if Lucina's Final Smash involves Chrom...?
He'd be the biggest item. What if Chrom is an item?
Chrom blushes, then grabs the nearest opponent and hugs them to death. What if Chrom is an item?
But does she blend?LMAO I DO want to say that Lucina means a hell of a lot to me. First off, I do not have a crush on Lucina. (FYI, that's okay. Fiction creates personas and really well made personas are supposed to be real, and a huge aspect of their reality is that you can like them - admire them, respect them, be invested in their stories, and yes, totally have a crush on them. It's a sign of a well-made character. That aside, though -) Lucina is a REALLY great character. I was deeply invested in her narrative arc, because there was so much told and implied there. The fact that she's had to cope with so much. I don't think she's older than sixteen or seventeen, yet she's had to shoulder the burden of fighting for not just her life, but of those she cares about and beyond. Of Tiki, of Gerome, of her sibling, and of her people. How much guilt must she have had to deal with? Does she blame herself for not being stronger or accept the grim reality of her time and fate? We know from Future Past that strong as she is she can't bear to see people die for her, and she is simultaneously the only one who is capable of defeating this huge threat to the world and must keep herself alive at all costs in spite of being selfless and wanting to shoulder all the burdens in the world. This is a wonderful person with a wonderful story that was sadly left mostly untold and unexplored. I think that also betrays a bit of IS's favoritism, the fact that the Future Past DLCs were made and focused on the bleak future. It was REALLY good, really moving and Lucina was the focus of this three-map arc, and while everyone does shine here, everyone from Brady to Noire to Nah to Yarne, Lucina is there, the radiant Awakened Exalt. Goddamn how I wish this had been Awakening. But oh well.
tldr Lucina is wonderful, Smash is wonderful, she totally needs to be in it. There aren't enough awesome female characters and really Lucy is one of the best in gaming.
He'd be the biggest item.
What if Chrom is a stage hazard?
Hubba Tester confirmed for next Fire Emblem stage. Watch out! The Awakening cast is thirsty!Chrom blushes, then grabs the nearest opponent and hugs them to death.
Can I hug you for this? *sniff*LMAO I DO want to say that Lucina means a hell of a lot to me. First off, I do not have a crush on Lucina. (FYI, that's okay. Lmaoooooooo THAT, is the question! But does she blend?
in the end, create Lucina together.
Just ask Robin! You know that having to meet the father and family is always the awkward first step in a relationship.
i laughed way too hard at this.......ಠ_ಠThe player who lands the finishing blow on Chrom will form an S-Rank with him, becoming his wife/hubbie in the process. He will then team up with the player against everyone else and, in the end, create Lucina together.
I haven't stopped laughing since I got to this thread today. Other than reading Lordling's post. I was agreeing too hard to laugh.i laughed way too hard at this.......ಠ_ಠ
That makes sense. It'll fit his role in Awakening. What if Chrom is an item?
Well, she's not usually intentionally funny. I find several of her supports to be hilarious though, particularly the one with non-mother avatar, as well as with her actual mother.Funny how everyone who vistits this place thinks we are funny and Lucina herself isn't know for being funny herself at all.
From my experience, people who generally prefer RPGs have funnier online personas than othersFunny how everyone who vistits this place thinks we are funny and Lucina herself isn't know for being funny herself at all.

But yeah, in support conversations, Lucina is secretly a comedian.
Oh definitely. I laugh so hard at that one every time. Her support with Cynthia in particular.
It would be amazing. I've really been hoping that they implement something akin to the Starfox character's and Snake's codex conversations from brawl into smash4, and it being FE related would be perfect.Fixed
Would be mad funny if you could do support conversations on the FE stages with FE characters in smash
At the very least, seeing other FE character's appear in the victory screen isn't too far fetched, especially when you look to Little Mac's victory screens, with that inclusion of a non-playable character. At the very least, it would really cool if Fire Emblem characters had context-sensitive victory quotes when they defeat each other.
I mean, I think Lucina would have something to say after defeating the hero king of legend. Ike, all the same, is considered the strongest hero of the seven realms. Besting him in combat would be an honour.
