Dude, yeah I was freaking out when I heard we were playing Trela and Ally. I ended up being a complete sandbag that first match as you well have seen. There was nothing really I could do except look back now and think why I lost my focus? It's just one of those things I had to live to learn.

Melee is really hard to get into compared to brawl.

Texas Tech's student body is comparable to UT's, yet we have a fairly sizable Melee community here.
I don't doubt there are panhandler's that love Melee.

And playing Brawl at a high level can be very difficult too.

We run into melee players at our tournaments sometimes, but all we can say is that we play brawl. For the most part, all the past melee players from Tech have graduated and/or moved on.
