ever notice that one hates loud music if they dislike the song?

BUT

if it's song that's liked it gets all the way turned up!

im in the back seat like--"turn it down; my head hurts!"

new song comes on-- "TURN THAT SH** UUUP!! THAT'S MY SONG!"

*fist pump*

tell me that's not you.

Rarely turn the music up, moderate volume no matter what song. :)

I still haven't figured out how to incentivize someone to turn down their loud, ****ty music.

A lot of music, metal especially,is meant to be played super loud.

I think it's more fun to have up loud too.

Then again super loud heavy metal isn't in everyone's tastes.

My friend/acquaintance constantly blasts metal into his ears while in the car.

And it pisses me off.

Metal is terrible music.
You think Metal is so terrible, listen to As I Lay Dying,The Devil Wears Prada,August Burns Red,Demon Hunter and The Word Alive. They are all christian metalcore/hardcore bands that reach positive meanings that you overlook.

I think it's the genre that he dislikes, not the rude, arrogant, and other stereotypes they receive.

Heh, done that with friends with the classical music channel. Get some great looks when you're stopped at lights, a car pulls up and stares at us headbanging to Beethoven

I love driving with the music up loud, combined with the fact that I always have my iPod up too loud means that I'm probably going to lose my hearing at a young age. Totally worth it.

Ah, man. I remember my brother and I doing the same thing to the 1812 Overture after making a midnight run to Whataburger. Everybody kept their distance from our car for the rest of the ride home because they thought we were drunk. Best car ride ever.

Haha had a car at the traffic lights blaring techno with the hardest bass ever (subs probably), literally every car in a 20 metre radius was vibrating.

i encourage loud music of every kind.
I support this! ;)

I didn't say I liked Christian metal/rock.

I just don't like metal in general.
That's what I figured. It's just the sound of the genre that turns you off, am I right? What do you listen to out of curiosity? I favor metal but I listen to a lot.

LMAO! That's just pure win! That's beyond awesome! hahaha.

You should know about basic sound levels and dynamics, then. Everything is much more produced and mastered louder than it was even 10 years ago. It's called Loudness War

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war
Never heard of loudness war, but I'm aware of sound levels and dynamics. But I'll be sure to check that out.
