Looking for San Antonio games

me and 3 friends play on the daily and are looking for other poeple to play agianst
so whats going on in san antonio?

I like Melee. I tolerate Brawl enough to host tournaments for it.

There are no smashfests! There is zero public smash gatherings whatsoever except for the occasional tournament, but all tournaments and no smashfests is bad for a smash community. Or maybe Dallas is just ridiculously awesome--someone can't post asking to play with someone there without 4-5 people taking them up on it within the hour.

You know, I've been wondering why San Antonio's Smash scene suddenly died off.

KM, make a Smashfest or tournament, will ya? I need a reason to go and play Smash Bros.

I'll play either Melee or Brawl, or even Smash64, really. However, I'm rusty as hell in Melee, since I've been playing Brawl more often now.

I can see where Bluezaft is going with what he's saying though. SA fell off the map in the Smash Bros. scene, and that makes me sad...

Speaking of which, is Gamelot ever gonna have another tournament, or any other place in SA for that matter?

How about Smashfests? I wanna see everyone again.

I can't think of any legitimate reason why there are hardly any tournaments here. Id there were, I'd attend 'em. Melee though.

Smashfests require a place that won't charge. It'd only make sense, like someone's house or at UTSA. I suppose I'll start things when the new student lounge is built and we have a place to meet up. Right now though I'm being lazy because I just work a lot at the moment and I'm trying to deal with San Japan's gameroom.
