it's much closer to sacramento

he showed up, kinda out of nowhere, and beat everyone in sac with peach. then he just kept winning in sac until better people started showing up.

at the end of melee, pink shinobi was one of the best melee players in norcal. he's beaten FTA, and has taken rounds off zhu/lunin. whenever i hear of him, it's always "don't underestimate him." i've always wanted to play that guy.

simna is notorious(at least in sac) for sandbagging at least in friendlies and I dont remember exactly who icem(been a long time) is. once again you cant use friendlies as a recognizer.

recognizer not recognized.

The first time he ever played in a tournament in Davis he showed up out of nowhere and won. And he didn't even play melee back then.

Make your way to Davis, we still play melee there although he's probably rusty. He might be in Michigan over the summer but he'll be back in fall.

That was weird.

He made me start to dislike Peach through how he played her. Basically because when I tried to figure him out I found a really aggressive style... I thought it'd mean circumvention by predictability, but for me back then it never seemed to work out in the face of that priority.

I guess that last post needed an emoticon to ease the tension. It was your first smashfest after all. I hope this doesn't have to do any thing with me calling you out either. I just like playing new people. Tutata was already there so I didnt need to yell for him.

And if you dont remember I was the red/blue ICs.

Because saying a comment like, "Hey dude, I came up in your room and it STANK!" Like, wtf? What value is there to that? It's like the annoying *** who comes into your room when you're playing a game or something and is like, "Wow, you're really into that game!" Yeah, obviously, I guess... There's no response to that, and most of time it's going to be interpreted as a negative.

I didnt mean it to be condescending, but its hard to detect tone of voice on a forum. sorry :dizzy:

nah, Falco ***** ICs pretty badly

Seriously, ICs is a pretty bad character, almost all of the top tier characters can really **** em. Falcon is easy, Fox, Falco, Sheik, Marth, Peach, Jigglypuff...

ICs aren't good for a reason; if you don't 2-3 stock ICs, you need to learn the matchup

falco does not **** ic's wow
falco has to dominate so hard in order to win
if he makes a mistake he can die in like 2 hits
even if he doesn't make a mistake, he can still die in 2 hits
sometimes 1

edit:

FALCON????

hey P, ask azn_lep about falcon.

ic's >>>>>>>> falcon
ic's > fox
ic's = falco
ic's = sheik
ic's = marth
ic's < peach (slightly)
ic's = jigglypuff

P, ic's only bad matchups are peach and luigi, stop talkin crazy.

um

IC < marth
IC <<< peach
IC < samus (more often than not anyway, but this matchup is super-stage-dependent)

I also fkn hate young link

he's so young

ic's < samus on pokemon stadium
ic's = samus anywhere else, esp. if you wobble. yes i am considering wobbling as a viable strategy.

IMO ic ***** marth in my opinion. i just put an equal sign to compromise everyone's viewpoint that marth counters them (which he doesn't, not by a long shot)

pocky don't you main them? believe in your character. <3

marth is probably my best matchup, but having played m2k (as well as watch m2k demolish chu at FC last year), I don't see how IC stand a chance against a "smart" (aka campy/defensive) marth

and the fact that you suggest as an IC main, I should "believe in my character" implies that you don't fully believe what you stated either, and simply want to put on an air of confidence -_-

I do like how you put IC = sheik though; people have been overblowing that for CENTURIES
