What's going on with my life?"

used to the question i used to ask myself i never seem to be fully satisfied with what i had did or done

I remember my world becoming a place of great confusion and stress.

Conflicting demands in my time causing me to lose myself sometimes in the roles of everyday life.

i hate the fact that i never seemed to have enough choices

I tried to keep up, but somehow my methods relaxation or just me being generally happy was always short-lived

a deal confidence that i was lacking , and you end up worried, maybe even a little depressed.
Everyone says, "How the time flies." The days go by and they are years, and the years finally become our whole life. Each daily portion can be wasted, or it can be a pleasure, before it is gone forever.

If a bedtime review of the day concludes that we were too stressed, too busy, didn't accomplish anything, didn't have any fun, then it has been another lost piece of precious life.

after randomly stumbling on this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc4HGQHgeFE&feature=related

really randomly lol

it made me realise that there is always always someone worse off in your position .

Face your problems bravely, confidently, and improve on your situation, no matter what state it be in. Be good to feel good. Be active and improve your mind. Laugh, relax, and sleep well

just be happy with what you got life is what you make of it

i hope i have inspired you guys to go after what you want . everything is in arms reach

When he said "you're the man" I was like :o

And I like my life, I'm not complaining. I'm going to do whatever I can do get the life that I breeze through. Because I enjoy being lazy.

I think that's revenge for being killed by King Dodongo in OoT, as well as getting murdered by the Dodongos on Termina Field in MM.

But seriously the video in the OP is some typical u r so bootiful motivational. The real message of the video is this: Dude has no ****en limbs but he can still milk his pseemingly miserable existence for all it's worth, so get off your arse and do the same.

Mmmm milk.

Seriously? Teran, you're a mod. People look up to you, you have to set an example! You need to realize this is a serious thread and making light of it in any form seriously detracts from etc etc...

Seriously? Luigi, you're a broomer. People look up to you as a broomer and the fact that you can broom so well should help you realize that this thread is serious business. Grow up and continue being a great broomer and being a role model for non-broomers.

Nah but before I get infracted, I watched that video 2+ years ago. I was like "That sucks." and I was thought of all I have. Living in an apartment isn't bad, better than living in the streets . . . I guess! :D I also happen to have all my limbs, so I can broom but that guy definitely swims better than me so :| I'm obviously not as gifted as him!

Jesus Christ, I look at this thread and I think about the comments on Youtube about that video of the baby with the disease that was posted a while back. It's almost an exact replica actually. A thread that's supposed to be serious and instead we're all making a joke out of it

I lmao'd.

But you're right, unfortunately. For all we know, this is what could've happened:

C.E.O: Come on guys! We need money fast! Any ideas?
Guy in suit 1: What about a documentary on practical jokes?
C.E.O: No no no. Too silly. We need sad. Come on guys, think!
Guy in suit 2: How about an interview with somebody that has cancer?
C.E.O: Too common, and it's cureable. But I like the way you're thinking. We need sad!
Guy in suit 3: There was a hobo on the way here with no limbs. We can exploit him.
C.E.O: Alright. We can make it about him being happy about life, even though he has no limbs. Go find this legless armless freak!

Two hours later, we see the limbless man smoking crack from the floor.

Guy in suit 3: Hey.
Nick: CAN'T YOU SEE I'M DOING SOMETHING?! Just drop off the change in my can!
Guy in suit 3: Let me cut to the chase. I can make you rich beyond belief.
Nick: Huh?
Guy in suit 3: Here's the catch: You have to make people think you're alright without arms and legs.
Nick: But it sucks!
Guy in suit 3: Yea, but it pays a lot of money.
Nick: How much?
Guy in suit 3: Umm, 100 G's?
Nick: Man. That's a lot of crack. I'll do it!

Sadly, that exaggeration is generally the gist of it. A big company exploiting a man with a disability, to make others think DANG. I'm not as bad as him, but I complain all of the time. Let's see how to do that...

Company: CHA-CHING!

I'm glad the limbless guy is good at coping with his disability. His attitude is admirable and I have nothing but respect for that. However, that doesn't automatically mean I have to be dead serious about this. I don't see much of a difference between this video and the exploitational talk shows where they get deformed people up on stage for the fleeting sympathy of fascinated couch-dwellers.

Part of appreciating the life you're given is learning that humor can never be inappropriate if there's no ill intent behind it. Does anyone really need to see a cloying after-school special like this to know there are people out there who have it bad? I don't need my inspiration to be drenched with the saccharine pity of a televised audience.

Ever wonder why so few of SWF's best posters care to bother with the pool room? It's not from a lack of "serious" topics.

I agree with what you said. Off-topic spam, however, is not a very fitting joke even though it was intended as such. But can we just drop this and move on? I'm more than happy to talk about this, but this thread isn't the right place. PM or IM me if you want :)
