thanks a lot 4 having us guys round, our first tournament, it was awesome.
Cant wait 4 next one now.
Ill definitely pass on melee tho, i suck so bad, i might buy the game now tho lol.
Im gutted tht i got knocked out in brawl by sumone whos tactics i know soooo well tho...

So I do better next time I'll be needing some practice. Been looking up combos and stuff but man it's hard to put all the stuff into actual matches. The mind games are too fast >.< (MIND CRUSH!)

I guess I'll play some matches against TC and see how it goes. If he's hosting fest saturday after next it'll give me a chance to see how my progress is going. Anyone volunteer to teach me how to play fox decently next fest? I need the practice =P

I will help you out. I think it would be easier if you were to learn some of his basic tech skill because he is a really technical character to play it would be to hard to tell you to do a few things if you didnt know how to pull off the basics.

Some of this is completely useless in battle lol but if you were to learn some of these basics you would be able to manuever with fox easier so the next time I see you I could give you advise an you can take it in easier.

Watching it now. A lot of it just looks like "wavedash tons and jump" to me but I think I get the idea. It's always easier when someone is right there telling you how to do it lol.

I'll practice the stuff, I've actually got my tv on with ssbm playing right next to me as of now =P

EDIT: I know the short illusion, found that out myself a while ago ^_^

Imo im gonna be busy soon, i start uni and christmas is a wtf time to host a european tourney (+ i don't want to travel alone again)

Yeah I will definitely make the next one seriously, No flaking I promise. Definitely need to play you again and other people, Ill prolly get finished though lol. And Peach ditto mm when Im at it? Just for fun =P

Good you can come. That also give Chrisboi and them lot no johns for not coming even though they wont come anyway lol. Will you lil bros be coming btw?
And yeah I dont mind doing a Peach ditto MM and it will prob get recorded. Also I dont mind doing other MM's like Fox vs Peach MM or my Fox vs your Sheik MM.

Looking forward to seeing all of the melee videos tommorow but more looking forward to me sending you to the losers brackets and my commentary/johns at the end of the last match lol.

"Do you know the basics like L-cancel and wavedash? and have you watched the Wak video which shows you the VERY basics of advanced play because all of the 3 parts are essential for advanced play."

I know L cancel, wavedash, crouch cancel, short hop (**** it's hard with fox but I'll get used to it), kinda know shffl but usually I end up normal jumping Q.Q, WD to ledge, run to up smash, I find up tilt hitting without jumping hard for some reason =/, erm, oh and I can shine spike and stuff, I can short hop laser some of the time too but no double lasers Q.Q Oh, tech too, I almost always forget too though like the noob I am.

Pivot is impossibly hard.

ull get there just keep trainin. i main link n every1 thinks he **** but i can take out my bro, PMS wit my link n thats even when he plays tournament style, he's still better than me but its all dwn to practisin n if u feel like u aint gettin no where stop invite a friend over n then train wit them that way u both get better n coz ur constantly competing ull both improve loads thats y me n PMS r so close in skill lvl

last brawl vid finishes uploading in 40 mins, then all the melee are uploading (all que'd already.) so expect the melee vids to be done about 11am-2pm unless my pc does something again >_>

loool Pivot isnt that hard. Just had to see if you knew the basics of smash before telling you what to do with fox. Its best to leanr though how to manuever with him first.

No point in sending him straight to the Character forums if he didnt know the basics and Wak isnt really outdated, it shows the very basics of advanced smash. Whatever you're thinking of which is not in there making it outdated is probably too advanced to be in there.

cheers for pointing out that vid problem, im reuploading that with the 2nd grand final match after the melee vids (hopefully they don't get random problems too)

Melee matches are uploading but they wont be done for a long while lol
