Good eye. Although I can't give an exact time for teams/singles, I kinda have to give the starting time for Low Tier. I think I forgot to. Noon, btw.

So like is anyone still going to this >_>? LOL i'd like to order my bus tickets soon if i can't get a ride since its like 40$ cheaper if i purchase them a week or so in advance.

Since i know of this tourny way ahead of time I could help housing, I just need to know if people need it before the last second. I'll only house though if Banks can not take anymore people since he just 2sec away from the venue.

As for the CRAB battle I don't care if you keep running it but, that should not reflect on your ranking of Maine. It should just be a way of people to get even more practice in and practice against everyone to get use to other people play style. For me whenever I know somthing ranked I end up playing worse for just getting too tense over it knowing that I'm being ranked over it. Should be somthing fun not stressful if that makes any sense for a tournament. >_>

This tournament going to be TOO GOOD though hope we get a good turnout before brawl comes out. So people please try to make it to this event to make it EPIC AS POSSIBLE!

Yeah I did not read the rest of the thread till after that so i was just like god **** it. Anyways after reading that I can house people if im warned AHEAD OF TIME (when i say that as in a week the LATEST). The max I could probablly take is 3 people. Only people I will house as well are people coming from beyond Mass since I know those places are a long *** drive from Maine. So get a hold of me through my Cell since I'm never on AIM for a rare amount of time. Send me a PM if interested and I'll give my cell number to you.

so I emailed john asking if sunday (March 2nd) would be available for running this tournament, since nintendo is tournament tough guy

Who is this going to affect?

Probably everyone. I might not be able to go if it's on Sunday. Sure I'd win the brawl tournament if I went, but I <3 SleepyK.

Omg I hope I win the lottery and get that huge prize.

They only let 256 players in? Man, it would suck to go all the way out there only to not get in the door. This will be the ultimate lottery. I'm looking forward to seeing some 8 year old win this event, which will lead to them posting on smashboards saying, "OMFGGGG I ROXOR SMAHSHBAORD N00BS!!"

So Maiden Games is all set for running it March 2nd. Is there anyone who will be affected by the date change? I'll send a PM out to everyone who posted in this thread saying they were coming.

I'm not sure if your joking or not but dear lord that would suck to wait around for so many hours (note that the doors open at 3). I guess there is no way to anticipate how large these will be. We should keep a track on how large the ones on the West Coast are in order to figure out how early to get there.

In all seriousness I'd really like to see one of the well known East Coast players nab the title, but nintendo will likely be having ffas and thus this will literally be a lottery (**** items!)

I think it may affect me since I have school Monday mew mew.

Edit: it depends on whether me and pc take the bus or not, if it's by bus pretty sure we can't do it, if we have a ride..maybe, but then, spawn has school monday earlier than both me and pc >_>

I think they said the matches were going to be 1v1 but the finals in new york are "multiplayer."

I don't know if they'll touch the items, but it's guaranteed they're going to leave Smash Balls on.

EDIT: All PMs are sent out. If you didn't get one, PM me, but the only people I didn't PM are people who already said they couldn't go, or don't even visit smashboards anymore.

Oh yeah, I sent one out to Wuwu. I wonder if he'll go.

EDIT DOS: Lil, I talked to Spawn earlier about rescheduling (He was one of the first because he told me he was bringing CT, so I figured I'd get his input ASAP), and he said he has school on Monday, but the trip from the tournament back to CT is only 3 hours, so I just need to rush the tournament.
