My performance at EC3 was the worst I've ever done. Went 0-2 in both Smash 4 Singles and Doubles.
There was some greatness to be seem from me there though. In Melee, my placement has been the highest I've ever gotten at a Regional. Placed 5th out of 15 in my pools, and placed top 16 out of 73 teams in doubles.
The TO also had me playing Smash 4 and Melee at the same time, which definitely contributed to my shaky playing in Smash 4. Almost got DQed twice. Hopefully they'll put me in a different time slot next time.
Overall, probably my favorite tourney I've gone to so far.

There's literally no way that MU is even, C3PO just has link problems lol (plus Sova being good of course, but he lost to Rin too)

That's the joke we all have. A few of our regulars face C3PO frequently and Link just seems to be a problem for him lol

That's interestng because JJrockets also thinks it's close. I think he had Link as 55:45 in Diddy's favor. LOL

Smokebomb once went on JJrocket's stream and beat him, it was very funny, just did laggy wifi link **** and JJ was there trying to contain his annoyance all "NO no, really very solid Link man! Keep it up!"

i only used link a single game to **** him in the ditto but he switched to cloud and beat me, ***

I did so poorly at EMC4 that I didn't even make it into wave pools.
Natmax Natmax (Tsage) placed top 17 though. Nicely done sir.

Also, a friend of mine on Facebook said a Link got second place at a big tourney in Japan. Any word on this?

I've been to four tournaments in the last two weeks. I wasn't very happy with my results from the first 2 (though all of my losses were PR/HMs), but this weekend has been my best performance yet. Last week I had:

This one should be taken with a grain of salt. One of Oregon's top 3 players and a mario, RCS Ruff arrived late and was auto-DQ'd to losers bracket. So of course I ran into him immediately upon losing... I probably would have made 9th otherwise.

I made it to round 4 winners to face Cacogen here. I took a stock both games against his sheik which is good enough for me. Unfortunately I lost immediately in losers to our PR sonic.

This week went better, the tournaments were much smaller but were really just missing the bad players:

I was mostly happy here because I destroyed the sonic who beat me at EC IV, I lost to PR peach and DK as per usual

I 2/0d Captain L in winners, who is apparently the 2nd best Pikachu in the world. I proceeded to buster pretty hard 1/6 in top 3, but at least I made it there!

Strong follow up to 2/224 at Umebura 24 where he won every set with Link (he was choking in GFs so I'm gonna ignore that)

I think My 65th place at Smash Con was the highest placing Link there.

Not positive about that fact though (never placed this well at national so idk how to look it up) , but the tournament was so much fun!

So the placing in reality isn't that good it is more so I managed to beat PsychoMyko (#1 player at Penn State, 9th in PA) for the first time in bracket. Too bad he adapted to me hard in Losers finals. Replays to come once there are posted.

Got 5th at Smash Attack in NY. Went Link/Rosa/Lucina

It was a round robin tournament, with a pro and amateur brakcet. I went 3-2 in pools losing to Sinji (Best Pac-man in the world arguably) and Deven3k Rosalina, barely making it to the Pro-bracket.

Then had a good winners run getting revenge on D3K by Counterpicking rosa and winning in the ditto.

Lost to Dekillsage fox in winners (he usually picks sheik against me and we have close sets but I wasn't ready for the fox).
And then Mike Kirby in losers. Got lamed out pretty hard, Kirby crouch kind of blows Link up because he can just react to grab with a roll and perfect shield anything that isn't grab. So I gotta think about that matchup a bit.

Sadly every stream match of me was me getting bodied... but it happens.
