This will be a project to go through all the women that have ever been interested in Link, and will provide a detailed description of their character, personality, relationship with Link, advances towards link, and the conclusion to their relationship. If anyone gets the joke in the title, well, you are amazing.

So, Link & Zelda. This is not a pairing I've ever really seen much. Link is asexual in every game except TP, and he's interested in Ilia there. Maybe WW Link and Tetra... maybe. But OoT Link is terrified whenever anything romantic is suggested, in general. He trips and screams when Ruto approaches him as a kid, and looks even more scared when she shows up in the Water Temple. Also, his reaction to Talon's offer of Malon is similar. But back to Zelda, they really just seem like friends, at least from his side. I could see her being interested, maybe.

Also, at the title: Qu'est-ce que c'est? Je ne comprend pas "leche-vitrine".

It's extremely subtle in most games. The most we've seen is Zelda kissing him at the end of Oracle of Ages/Seasons. Though Link responds similarly to the ways you've mentioned. Also, in the end of Zelda 2, it shows Link and Zelda embracing each other as the curtain closes on them. Since we have Zelda 2 at the very end of the timeline, I'm guessing Link's character matured a bit through the generations. lol

Ahhh yes. Zelda and Link have quite a unique relationship, Link seems to suffer slight fear of women. It's more likely he's slightly paraniod by all the traps and alike were he's going to lose her if he stays with her. As Ganondorf had the chance to catch them he'd have a field day destroying everything. Leaving Link to blame for the overthrough.

He has to constantly stay alert.

Maybe it's not so much he has a fear of woman, but a fear of feeling so vulnerable as one does when they are with a woman.

Ok 1... the sage your thinking of is the Light sage and thats an old guy... so no.. Zelda isn't a sage... and 2) Even if she was, being a sage wouldn't stop anyone. Look at Ruto, she was the water sage but she was ready to **** him.

Zelda was the Sage of Time, the seventh sage. She knew that she and Link could not be together because a) she had the Triforce of Wisdom and knew the effects of everything on everything else, and b) Link had not fulfilled his destiny. She knew that he must be sent back to being a child, as he was robbed of 7 years of his life for her and Hyrule's sake. He proved himself worthy as the hero, and worthy of living a complete life. Being the bearer of ultimate Wisdom, she also knew that there was much more for him to do (Termina). Now, was this all thought out consciously? Maybe not, but it was inevitable that she would bestow such actions.

The great thing about Link and Zelda are that they are never meant to be together. They make up two parts of the Triforce, but look at the third - Ganondorf. All belong together as the Triforce, but separate as individual life forms. Despite being tied to this eternal Triforce, they are given the freedom to lead their own lives.

...And there's the fact that, in TP, Link is a rancher, and he has a horse whose (default) name is Epona.

If there's any pairing in OoT, it's LinkxMalon. I mean, there are gossip stones saying she wants a knight to sweep her off her feet, and stuff. She also does not vanish away like the sages.

I agree. It's definitely Malon for OoT. She's Link's age ALL of the time (unlike Saria), and she's not a Sage or Triforce carrier.

The strongest evidence for Link and Ilia is when she gets her memory back. Everyone leaves the two of them alone, and when one of the kids tries to watch, the other pulls them away so Link and Ilia can have a special moment. Also, every time Link makes his angry face when he wants to protect/save Ilia. Haha, he's not very subtle at hiding his emotions.
