It hadn't been updated for a long time and several patches have passed since the discussions. I was also hoping to try a format where people can post their thoughts about any stage rather than having one stage per week then quoting the posts and putting them in spoilers for each stage in the OP.

Cause I was playing a lv 8 CPU on Palutena's temple omega form as Pit. I was at the side of the stage on 30% and he was 146%. I was about the finish him when he land the two hits of his Fsmash and kill me.

The 3 goddesses were displeased you played Pit instead of Link and punished you. Also rage probably had something to do with it.

It kills about 5% earlier than it did before. It isn't that significant. If you died at 30, then your DI/Vectoring must have been god awful.

Even so, you're right. I can't DI/Vector for the life of me. The problem is I don't know which one I am suppose to be doing. I remember someone saying the horizontal is still Vector while up is DI but for some reason, even if I do it correctly, I still die, dispite my character jump before reaching the blast zone(horizontal at least) or just not moving at all. I really don't know what I am doing.

Well for one that Link was almost at max rage...and Pit isn't that heavy either...

and believe it or not Link's fsmash (if both hits connect) is actually one of the strongest fsmashes in the game...I know he's top 10 so it's quite powerful...it isn't his strongest kill move though, fully charged spin attack kills earlier than fully charged fsmash even if both hits connect of course spin attack is very situational and much easier to punish than his fsmash...

Not exactly sure where I should post something like this, so I figured I would post it here.

I was really impressed by Catana 's Link play when watching some of their matches. One thing I picked up on was their options for pressuring shields. A lot of the time, I saw Catana using what I guess you could call "psychological shield pressure": Standing at a safe distance, say tipper f-tilt range, or walking through their opponent's shield instead of actively pressuring their shield with attacks. I feel like that kind of shield pressure is very important to dealing with shields as Link, and I really commend Catana for their grasp on how to deal with shields.

I quoted Zane in the spoilers but the quotes cutoff part way. Is there a limit to the amount of text in a quote or something?

Oh, yeah, that problem. Basically, for some reason that still hasn't been fixed, when you quote people inside spoilers, sometimes you won't be able to expand the quotes. It usually happens after you've already expanded the quotes inside one spoiler and then move on to the next spoiler. I have the same issue in the meta thread so for now I have a note at the top that tells people to just refresh the page for each spoiler. Not ideal, but I thought the problem would be fixed, and so far it's still there.
Your options are doing as I have done then pestering warchamp, or deliberately messing up the format for the quotes (e.g. take out a square bracket or something), or simply not quoting people and copy-pasting their posts then maybe leaving a link to their post with their name at the top or something along those lines, or else just get rid of the spoilers entirely.

Tbh, just kind of wish they'd improve the start up of Spin attack (tho the same could be said for a few of his moves) and that weird glitch were your opponent won't get hit by the move if they have shielded it and standing in the way of the hit box and not getting hit dispite the animation is still going.

I think Link's standing Spin Attack should have multi-hits (Ryu's Tatsu is the exact same thing, does no damage if you shield it once then it does **** all afterward despite clearly hitting you) so it is a bit safer to use in general...it doesn't need to trap like Tink, but at least it could make it a better option (which could still be punishable but a bit more forgiving)...literally the only way I actually land this is if I condition my opponent to air dodge after Dthrow and punish with a fully charged Spin attack (kills super early and is satisfying as hell to land)...although it can make a decent 'get off me' if it actually connects...also it's the better option to punish Jiggs since she can escape the second hit of fsmash because of her floatiness...

Yeah, that would be nice if it was a multi hit move tho not like Tinks. Cause seriously, Link is clearly spinning around multiply times. How is it far once it hits a shield it's useless
Tho I tell you a nice use for use for Spin attack (at least his aerial version)

If your recovering, try turning it around so that link is facing away from the edge. With any luck, u may be able to clip your opponent in his spin attack and if they are at a high enough percent, (or have a bad recovery) u can possibly kill your opponent.
