A friend say that "yoshi es counterpicked hard by Link"

I told him that is the other way around, but he doesn't believe me and even he call me arrogant or something like that for being so stressful in indicating it.

Am i correct in this assumption?

Yoshi vs Link isn't awful in any direction, but he can actually outcamp us with his eggs. It's doable on our side but definitely in their favor. Hell just ask the Yoshis.

Had a friend picking up Megaman figure out the Blade toss slide, and after he showed it to me, I was like "sit back and observe kiddo" I've been doing that for years.
Yeah people are sending me it saying "NEW TECH LOOK" and I'm just like...lol

EDIT: Yoshi definitely wins, not only can he outcamp, but he's just faster, does a lot of damage, has great kill moves and does have combo set ups. And he's generally pretty safe, not to mention he can actually do stuff OoS now...

That and he has huge frame priority over Link on pretty much everything...
Oh, and as you already mentioned, nothing can be punished on Yoshi without straight up outplaying the person using them.
Almost reminiscent of Sheik.
Which is BS when Link has a ton of laggy moves that can be punished easily.
I really hate Yoshis in general myself.

Yoshi is very viable: Mr-R said that, though Yoshi loses slightly to Sheik, he has the advantage in the MU when the Sheik doesn't know the match-up. Sabaca beat our best Yoshi once though, and he's now convinced the MU is doable.

It's most definitely winnable for Link. Yoshi is just annoying

Let's give Yoshi the un-pokable shield and let him act out of shield now.

Because balance.

Don't forget about weight and being generally difficult to combo since he can double jump or nair out of everything. =/

Let's make his Up-B a projectile that covers him from above AND allows him to recover with enhanced distance and mobility.

The command grab is what really gets me -- that and the ability to break a shield rather easily. Cat and I both got our shield broken in tourney games by the same Yoshi: quite a shame.

Speaking of @Catana, he'll be unbanned soon:

Links found their life, but there’s no life for me
For the Link of my boyhood is ignoring my plea.
The Link I admired, the most – yes – of all
Has gone with the wind, and left behind brawl.
He’s confined, and long gone – O when
When will you play lovely Link again?

The Links talk so sweet, and the boards are calm;
Yet where is the one, the one from my psalm?
Without his playing, all else can be sweet
And still be dreary, when we never meet!
The scenes where we would once happily play –
Those joyous scenes, they’re fading away.

There is a peace looming over the boards
A happy music, sounding the chords.
There is peace in my play, now once so fine
Every bomb belongs, every Nair is in line.
Yet the movements that made me the most content
Are those with him, where my childhood was spent.

We went double Link, and we lost most of all
Yet who really cared? Winning’s so small –
So small compared to feeling fine and free:
Free from constraints, supported by glee.
So that, even with our now improvèd powers
I miss, from days past, those long gone hours.

Now I feel but naked, silly and bare
Without him standing next to me, there;
Every throw, every move, every Dair
Feels meaningless, ‘cause we are no pair.
He’s confined, and long gone – O when
When will you play lovely Link again?

Ah yes, we are still playing proudly in teams
But the old him is gone now, banished from dreams.
The pleasures that we had of yore
Are gone: I can feel them no more.
For his Link is done, and memory will be
All that by now will remaineth with me.

I faced an ex Pit-main sunday -- he mains Diddy now. Went so close with his Pit he pulled out the Diddy game 2. He nearly 3-stocked me with Diddy  Actually, my very first Smash 4 tournament match was against his Pit too! He placed 3d then. I remember everyone being so sad when he pulled out Diddy next tourney. He was one of our first switchers. More were to come..
Aw, well that's a bummer. A part from his low kill power, Pit is an awesome character. That is really sad. Stupid Diddy. Wait, what about :4fox:? Do you you guys hate him or like? And do people swap out there mains to use him or would that be Melee only?
Guh, I hate quoting multi-quote posts XD

No, not really into cricket. Did the local sporting team kick some baskets? :p
Aw, well that stinks. Wait, wha?

It's my duty as an American to ask: what the hell is cricket?!
it's like baseball.
It's like baseball 'cept gay.
*face palm* Are you guys kidding me?!

(Wow cricket must be serious business; I must be careful not to cause an international incident )
Yes it is and yes that would be a good idea.

i once saw almost 10 packed buses in one minute headed for the SCG.
That doesn't surprise me in the slightest/

oh god, this was so terrible. the indonesian government made a very bad decision.
Yes and now there is another Australia in China who might be getting the death sentence.

Cricket is awful. Rugby is the only sport worth paying attention to, really. Although I'll accept Hurling, Gaelic Football and Aussie Rules.

Check the patch notes my friend its much worse than just our jab.
Tonight is the night I'm going to wipe away my tears and sit down and do real work in getting used to the new Link play. Gonna learn how to go old school and learn all the projectile tech I can. It's easy to forget, but this Link is still way better than any other Link iteration imo.

I'll happily admit that I don't like American football or Association football. I find both really boring, although Association football is the better of the two.

Hockey is the best spectator sport hands down. I personally am a big proponent of playing Tennis, nothing like hitting a soft ball back and forth with rackets while groaning and..........

I see what I did there -_-

Also, to my HW brethren: What is your opinion of Tingle in game? I really don't like him at all, but I'm curious how he rates amongst the cast. Tell me, is he as bad as summoning gate Lana?

besides everyone knows vidya gaemz are da bess sport

I've actually yet to try Tingle or half of the roster, really. I barely play HW although I enjoy it massively.

I can't believe I started a sports war in the Link thread all because I mentioned Cricket.

I never understood America Football. Actually, I really have never watched America football, though I don't mind. I don't really like soccer though.

I do...now please excuse me while I go cry in a corner
Aw, no wait come back here

Sports? MMA>all. Only sport where you can kick someone in the face and beat them while they're down and it's okay.

One 15 hour shift is all that stands between me and a 10 day vacation in Florida. Goin' to Orlando! Gonna ride The Hulk roller coaster at Universal over and over until I puke my guts out :awesome:

Just got back from a Sm4sh Doubles tourney. Placed 3rd out of 14 teams. I'm content. Sadly it wasn't streamed though. Took 4 hours to complete. Man I'm tired.
