Sassy, eh? Not quite sure I'd describe Zelda like that. Welcome in any case! You'll soon feel at home with our favorite hero.

Cat and I had a tournament yesterday. We placed top 13 in doubles (out of 33) with double Link, 'twas fun. We hope to do better next time (March 8th). Cat placed top 17 in singles (out of 97), beating a Fox(!)/Falco, a Pikachu (!), and another Fox(!). He lost to a really good Ness and a Diddy. Not exactly lucky with the match-ups!

Hello, Links. Lurked around here for a while; these boards made me want to pick up Link in Smash 4.
Let it be known that we did not force him to say this. For all of you out there that think the Link boards are a cruel place that never brings in new players, this right here proves you wrong.

...carry on with your lives citizens

Neither, obviously, because you main Gay. Your pretty pink name further seals your fate as a forever Gay main. :rotfl:
Hm, not sure if you're being mean or have a point.....

WAIT! you weren't the one who pranked me, were you?

Well I mean you can play against them as any character you want, I guess, but only during their open challenges. I dunno it's still new so I'm just making sure to keep up on it and watch for developments and rule changes.
I really hope then it doesn't become FE vs Zelda, cause then I really don't know which side to choose...

Speaking of "sassy," @ Rizen Rizen 's past couple of posts have been pretty sassy. Been spending a little too much time with the Zeldas, eh?
Really? The Zelda's are sassy? I thought it was just :4palutena:s and :4robinf:s?

Supposing we do need a combo DI thread, should we maybe DIscuss who and what should get the ball rolling?

I have really enjoyed the whole of Majora's Mask 3D. I remembered how stupid the Great Bay temple made me feel the other day >.>

And :4palutena: is definitely a sassy lady. :4robinf: on the other hand IMO seems like the picture of refinement and elegance in a young lady.

That sounds like a good idea. I can give some advice against sheik and sonic

I don't really have sass; it's more of a dry wit. IDK how the Zeldas do it TBH. They have an interesting forum culture and I seconded Zelda in Brawl so I visit.

Doesn't it seem like male and female Robin have the exact same body model?

I wish I had enough money for MM3d. I am $10 short at the moment :-:

Also, I have played enough FE:A and hung around the Robin threads long enough to know that :4robinf: is nothing but sassy. Seriously, have you heard her victory line to :4lucina:?

How can you protect Chrom if you can't protect yourself? :4robinf:

Though :4lucina: can be every sassy from time to time.

Ohai! I have decided that it's finally time to live my dream of maining Link. I was never good at range only guys but his new melee skills are making him really fun for me in a more competitive way

Have you anyone tested Link's normal boomerang to see if it could combo like the gale boomerang?
It doesn't combo quite the same way (I think launch angle is different?), but it combos better. Return hit is awesome, I think it does a little more damage, it's just great. I gave it to my amiibo and was surprised at just how much more annoying it was to deal with when it was out than the gale boomerang.

It is actually great for gimping opponents (in my head) with bad recoveries, because the knockback is much more horizontal rather than vertical.

This has been my experience with it also.

The `rang is so good. yes there are some neat things you can do with gale boomerang but it's mostly situational (as you all would know)

I tested this and it actually does even better IMHO. The rang has a set knockback and in doesn't launch the opponent but rather knocks I'm to the ground. If done in close quarters you can follow it with a guaranteed dash attack or fsmash iirc. This means that a rang at cq at 80% dog or so will result in a KO.

I can't believe you have a new avatar. Do you change it every week or every other day?

Also, come on Cam, why would I call on you unless it's for you to talk about weeaboo stuff. Think about it.

I've actually been rocking this one for like a week now maybe? Maybe you caught me playing around sporadically (which I probably will be again) since they updated the avatar dimensions for the site. I was content but now this has made me indecisive again... Sigh.

Damn, I'm really slippin' on this one. The manliest anime I can think of is Gurren Lagann... ?

@ Camalange Camalange you just lost weeaboo points with me, though that's not bad necessarily. The chimera from FMA.

You can go kick yourself now.

ugh

I've seen that episode like a million times too because for some reason that's like the only one they air on adult swim.

God, that episode is soul crushing. So good.

Sorry that I didn't catch the percentage reference... That's not what I retained from watching that.

It is soul crushing. That's the episode that made us quit watching FMA and animes in general. That's quite something.
