Actually, it is true. Perhaps Ooccoo made Link's tunic in the first place?

This isn't really an Easter Egg or anything like that. Its just a quick buck:

In Kakariko Villige in TP, On top of the Shamans "House" , if you use your Bomb Arrows to hit the bell, 100 rupees fall out.

You can only do this once every time you load your file. Also, you must have the Master Sword (to transform into a beast and use Midna to jump up to the top of the roof.:)

You know what I thought was interesting? The Gohmas in OoT, TP, and WW. While one's a scorpion-like monster, the others are a large centipede and a giant spider.
Why are they each called Gohma? Did they really descend from one another, or are they just named that for being many legged bugs?

I made a post regarding this in my (just about dead) Evolutionary Theories thread. The Gohmas have always interested me in respects to how they've changed throughout the series.

It's not really a discovery or anything, but go defeat the King Dodongo in Ocarina of Time. Ever noticed the way that it's arms look when it dies in the lava? The way the claws point and stuff?

All I can say to that?

ROCK ON!!!!

I'm sure most people know about this but... If you peek through the window in the courtyard in Ocarina of Time, you can see a bunch of pictures of Mario characters.
Wow I never knew this. Im going to see this right now :D

In Majora's Mask, you don't actually have to train with Romani to stop "Them" invading. Additionally, you don't have to be there exactly when "They" arrive. You can enter at anytime during the invasion, but they move towards the barn as though you'd been there the whole time. You can start the fight at as late as around 3:00.

I'm not sure if people know this already, but, in OoT, if you go into the back alley of the market after the scene where Zelda and Impa flee, you find a dying soldier. It's really sad ;_;

Yeah, it was Majora's Mask-emotional, if not more. He was the only human besides Ganondorf that you actually see near death.

Also, phantom hourglass

(Since is was a COMPLETE plagiarism of Link's Awakening down to almost every detail)

Also, in TP Link himself is having a dream at one point, is he not?

Zelda is often sleeping in the games, or someone gets temporarily knocked out.

Basically dreaming is a big part of the zelda series, just like music and animals.
What are you speaking about?

Link's Awakening has absolutely nothing to do with Phantom Hourglass o_O
There are also absolutely no similarities O_O

LA was a dream, PH kind of toyed with the idea in its ending, until it showed Linebeck's ship.
Also, the Ocean King bears some striking resemblance to the Wind Fish.

Every other similarity is kind of stretching it (Marin and Ciela both find Link washed ashore on their island, etc...)

Hmm, ok. Sorry. I can't remember the end of PH... I'm such a guy that plays a game just to finish it. And after it, maybe, i play it again. But PH is not one of my favorite games...

But i will at least fight the boss again and watch the ending^^

Looks interesting. Did you also watch the LoZ Retrospective part 6? Looked interesting...

Rapax, both games had a "...or was it?" ending.

Read this:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=932377&topic=50313233

I think that covered most of the points I made somewhere on facebook that I can't seem to find.
Oooh, right, I almost forgot about the Marin Seagull you see in the special 0 deaths ending. That coincides nicely with seeing Linebeck's ship.

But what is that "wise old sage that turns into wise old whale" thing in LA? Who was the wise old sage, the owl? He didn't turn into the Wind Fish, lol.

I don't know if anyone's done this, but on TP, in the Snowpeak Ruins, on the 2nd floor of the foyer, there's an ice skeleton guard on the other side of a platform, if you use bomb arrows when it is close to the door on its side, it suicides itself!! I was like wow!!!:laugh::laugh:

I want come back to LA/PH thing.
I watched the ending yesterday carefully.

PH is definetly not a dream. But LA is.

If it were a dream, how came link back on the ghostship?? (he felled into the water...)
And from where did he get the hourglass? >_>

Nothing speaks for the dream. But LA is really a dream...
So it is not a remake or something.
It is simply a game placed after WW... But it's real, not a dream.

The grandfather maybe just turned back the time or something...

Did you see the special ending in LA? Marin appears to link after he wakes up and flies away, almost identically to Linebeck's ship.

I figured the pirates just hoisted Link onto their ship. I mean, he was apparently drowning in the water right next to them.

Special End?? I just saw the end with the whale flying over him =O

And wherefrom did he get the hourglass if it just were a dream? ._.

The special endings if you played all the way through without dying once. It should be on YouTube somewhere.

Also, it is still possible LA was a dream. The Wind Fish might still grant wishes to the characters in his dreams for some reason...

I wasn't really arguing that PH or LA were or were not dreams. I was just saying they used that "...or was it?" ending at the end of both games.

By the way, one more similarity: Both the Wind Fish and the Ocean King grant wishes.

edit: Wow, I just found the dying soldier's speech in an OoT text dump:

Dying Soldier said:
Unnngh...are you the boy from the forest...? I-I-I've finally met you... I-I-I have something to t-t-tell you... Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves, betrayed our King... Zelda's nanny, Impa, sensed danger and escaped from the castle with our Princess... I tried to stop Ganondorf's men from chasing them...but... The Princess was...waiting for a boy from the forest...that's you... She wanted to give something to the boy... If you received it from the Princess, hurry...to the Temple of
Time....

He's not moving anymore....

Ok, this is the reason why i don't know the special ending^^
I died, of course. And i never tried to not die.

Well LA is definetly a dream. I never said the opposite.
I was speaking about PH.

Yeah I was talking to Sinking, who pointed out that Marin somehow appeared afterwards and then transformed into a seagull. I was thinking it's possible that the Wind Fish let characters like her outside of his dream world.

I did this before using AR codes and it worked. If you enable the hover cheat it is possible to get all the way through the shadow temple as young link.

The surprising thing is that when you use your slingshot against bongo bongo he actualy drops deku pellets, as if the game was rooting for you to beat it, haha.

The conversation with Impa after the fight is also quite humorus, as she talks about how much youve grown and what a man youve become.

You can beat shadow temple as young link without cheats.
