On a random aside: Got my old wii set up on a standard def tv. Anyone know of a good way to unlock everything again in Brawl (since I transferred the data over to the WiiU?) without too much effort?

Play through Subspace on easy. That unlocks all the characters then you just need a few stages.

Lol, I wifi-ed on AiB. My Link did good but man all the SDs :/ I'm really rusty.

@ link and ike lover I might be able to play this weekend but I don't really play too much brawl any more. And when I do, i usually play Marth or Fox. I might go Link just for old times sakes but don't expect too much lol

Man this place gets weird, fast. I think my days of smash might be over (never got to play competitively, oh well). I've been playing on my friend's setup and he moved out so his stuff will quickly follow. I simply don't have the money to get a system and game. Maybe once the SSB4 metagame is older than Father Time's balls I'll have the money to try my hand at this stuff again but at this point I just can't justify the expenditure.

I'll still be around, though, even though I guess I'm technically a Ganon main now.

@ Bomber7 At least we're seeing a good amount of LoZ items!

I'm busy working 40 hours a week, then coming home to look up guidelines on how to properly dose warfarin to patients with atrial fibrillation alongside other concomitant conditions, and then following that up by looking up randomized controlled trials on the possibility of administering epoprostenol via a nebulizer rather than the FDA-approved IV route in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome and then coming up with procedures to administer it and giving a presentation to the pharmacy staff about it (woo, I actually contributed to changing the hospital's protocol!). So when I say "ain't got time for dat," I mean "ain't got time for dat."

But yes, you're right, it's mostly because I'm incredibly lazy and just don't want to do all that work again

I'm curious, do any of you guys play PM? Link is godly in that game. I play him like an amalgamtion of Brawl and Melee Link and it's just incredible. I've had a bit of success with him in tournament (5th in my pool at Apex!) and I suggest you guys check him out. zair is still good, and a lot of the ATs transfer over. I still Craq walk and stuff haha.

He's always been super good. Boomerang combos into, like, everything on sweetspot. It's amazing. It used to be very similar to 64's boomerang, which was broken as hell. His speed across the board has increased, including his dash speed and overall animations.

P:M's the best thing to happen to Smash. A lot of balance? Link high tier? Melee's competitiveness? Brawl's fun? What more could a Smash player want?

I wouldn't say Link is godly, though. He's solid but far from high tier.

Installing PM takes very little time, you just have to delete all of your custom stages, wipe a 2 GB SD card (standard SD card) and use the installer. It's super simple.

So, you know that casual brawl league I'm in charge of?

We decided to do commentary for the matches for the playoffs/consolation rounds (for the players who didn't make the playoffs).

I commentated a few of the matches this week. We had some voice reverb going on with the mike, but otherwise it was really exciting for our players to get commentated and recorded live.

The excessive reverb kinda ruins the commentary... I'm not a sound expert, but that needs some working on. Otherwise, the commentary itself wasn't bad. You weren't bad at all commentary-wise.

Yeah, this was literally our first week ever trying to actually do commentary/cameras so we were bound to get something wrong. I'm sure our tech expert will get it fixed up for this upcoming week's matches.

Also I've been loving P:M Link. Can't practice P:M because hax, but he's terrific fun. Got 2nd at a casual P:M tourney we did a month ago going mostly Link (I played a little Charizard/Ganondorf/Pikachu because lulz).
