I got 2nd in my pool. I woke up from a 2 hour nap and had to fight Domo immediately and lost 1-2 but I beat the rest of my pool including Fizzleboy. I should have warmed up!!

I'm out. I beat Pops 2-0 then lost to YBM 1-2 and Infern 1-2 last hit.

I'm positive now that I have a choking problem. Either that or my mindset thinks it so I play dumb mid set. Sometimes I can get back into **** mode when I trick myself into thinking I'm god (which is usually match 2) but then I go back to thinking "I did good enough taking so-so to game 3" and then I do dumb ****.

Ill work on fixing that problem by trying to get better. Its frustrating when I know I'm doing dumb things but that I can't stop doing it.

Yeah, I need that $10 gas though.

I'm gonna drop Falco for mk most likely.
Ew lol. Anyone who watches you play can tell you that your main problem is a choking problem. It's not your character being flawed. You don't know how to relax, and because of that you mess up in situations that you shouldn't be messing up in. I have the same problem honestly, and Wyatt is trying to help me out with it. According to him, I allow my emotions to sway the way I play. He mentioned I have taken control of the situation for the main part, hence me doing better in doubles, but the problem still remains. I feel it is something I can take control of though.

It comes from a amount of humility a person has. A lack of cockiness engages someone to allow their emotions to get the better of them. I know a lot about this game, but because of that I have a problem producing results as well. The best way to get around it is confidence, as well as a little bit of practice. The moment you start to doubt the ability to be better then someone, and allow the thought of being beaten to come to mind, is when you allow yourself to be beaten by others.

I was actually talking about this with others last night. Think of the people who make money consistently in this game. Think of their mindset. That is what you need to copy.

You need some of that RJ coaching too =D. I can allow myself to put our bet aside for a tournament to see if it helps you improve in anyway. I don't mind, and your crew members have all been coached by me at one point. You can just ask them lol.

Thanks a BUNCH for this bro. My confidence is pretty screwed atm. I fight people and think (its okay to lose to this guy) and such and then I lose first match. Right before 2nd match begins I say (**** this!), take them back to the same stage and win.

Then the cp comes up and its almost always some awkward stage with funny ledges and throughout that match if I start losing at any point I begin thinking "it was a good run" and take in the loss before it happens. Which is why I'm never really angry when I lose sets, even if they're last hit 3rd game.

Another issue is also Falco. I REALLY don't like his recovery. MK has much better recovery options and can gimp better than Falco. I do wanna fix my choking problem but there's other things about Falco that I have trouble in tourney doing such as dacus, iap, cg spike, and I fair a lot. I also sded 3 times at KTAR 3 with a forward B and did the same in one of my sets here.

Falco imo just needs a chill pill. Maybe ill come back to him but I've been wanting to drop him for 2 years now. Imma go all mk at uprise.

You know a lot of people think by dropping X character and going MK is always the best thing to do and always brings positive results. Keit it's not the way to go especially being that your MK doesn't have enough Exp as your Falco man. Going MK won't make things any easier =/.

Of course it takes time. I don't expect to place as well as I do with mk right away. Could take a month, could take a year. Its something I'm willing to commit to atm.

But I have already been training my mk a good amount over the past 2 weeks plus I always had a pocket mk so its not like imma lose to some noobs right off the bat or anything.
