Then after HL voted for me, you voted too. This time there was only one vote ahead of you, but it's almost interesting to see how you vote for someone and when that person makes a case on someone else, you follow that vote.

I know it's not always true, but that middle vote is a nice place for scum to go. It doesn't have the spotlight of leading or the possibility of being accused of causing a hammer.

I suppose this mostly sticks out to me because during RVS, I asked you to vote for someone and preferable for someone who had no votes on them. Yet all of your votes are follower votes. It's not like you even post good reasons or arguments for why you vote for someone.

Instead you make statements like "This game needs more controversy...", "The drama... I like", or " Tandora, team pressure?" Such a follower attitude doesn't sit right with me.

I'm referring to the post below. When I saw that, I had no clue if you thought Kuz and I were scummates or just were both equally likely to be voted after Beat or what. It's not clear (if you're town) and sets up an implied connection (if you're scum).

If you couldn't already tell I am trying to elicit a reaction from people that aren't really talking by voting for people who haven't said much.

So what if I defied your first request and voted for you. You could make an argument that playing the way you want me to would be playing safe in your eyes.

Buddying helps elicit reads. I find it strange people don't question when someone is upright nasty, rude, trolling, or just plain not nice but when someone is nice people call them out for being scum? It's a double-standard if you call one out but don't call the other out. I buddy because 1.) It makes the game more fun regardless of what happens and in the past I have made some of my better friends from buddying in Dgames games. 2.) I gain reads based on the person I am buddying AND how people react to said buddying. 3.) If people seriously do lynch people off of buddying someone who flips scum without even considering other facts, then they are just plain not smart and need to learn how to see facts sometimes.

That's my personal take.

One shouldn't vote for someone who agreed with a confirmed scum the previous day either. To do so would be advantageous for scum... they'd just distance themselves from each other and then pick off people who happened to agree with their scummates.

TBH, I was expecting Gheb to shoot me down. Gheb would never support me but instead tell me that I must support him. It's definitely a fun factor thing. Knowing there's another player there I can just kinda goof off with makes the game more enjoyable for me. I am more likely to make connections which is only beneficial for town for when I die.

Ultimately when I'm town if I'm not directly masoned with someone who is confirmed town I distrust everyone. So even if I'm buddying someone, I look at their motivations.

Heck, in Dexter, Zen asked to be friends with me and it made me paranoid. The only time before he had seen me in a positive light was when he was a godfather. So offering to buddy will elicit different responses depending on my history with you.
