You know, the thing I hate about stallers is that they dodge too much and waste time. Since I cant record, and the only source of "recorded" matches are the 3-min replays. Im pretty sad because I just did a KO that i think would be better than an Arrow Star KO.
As many of you know, I enjoy using the Arrow Rain... So I shot 4 arrows up, (while against a Dedede that had about 180% damage) and while the first one missed, the other 3 hit consecutively, and each arrow was pulling him closer to me, and after the last arrow hits, the penguin was close to me and I finished it off with a Dsmash!
Unfortunately it was about 4 minutes long... Stupid stallers ruined my chance! So now im goin to do some 2-stock matches against most opponents, except Kupo, since he can record.
I might as well keep trying to improve my aim in my matches...

Kupo wanted the Pit's weight discussion to move here. Here's my contribution, based on the hard data on character weights:



Pit is in the histogram bin which is highlighted in red. Looks pretty solidly middleweight to me; that's the same bin as Mario is in, for instance.

Notice Jiggly is in her own poor weight class. Kind of sad, really..

Oh, and Snake is heavier than Ganon, Charizard, and Dedede. WTF?

he said BASE knockback isnt affected by weight. - thats what the link said.
yea good comparison with the d3 and pit. but for real dont say obvious stuff.

and if u look at that list pit is pretty darn close to the middle making him middle weight. (like i said b4).

he doesnt die quickly COMPARED to every other char.

Yes BASEKNOCKBACK because how can you determine knockback when the % is 0? It would be 0 unless they did something about it which they did. Weight plays a role on knockback as you get % and the higher percent, the more knockback but compared to DDD, his knockback at 100 is not the same as Pit at 100. Pit is lighter so his knockback is greater so he dies quicker.
I can't tell you how many times I played against Ganon where I do great combos only for him to do 3 hits to even out my 7 hits and then he proceeds to kill me.

Maybe next time you should back yourself up a bit more and let us know you know that lighter characters get thrown further that way I dont have to make an obvious comparison.

Any way back to the weight I still think Pit is lighter if not by much there is a thread some where I look for that has the true weights up due to Jiggy's down B

oh man i didnt even realize that everything was moved here till today.

okay so crows chart shows pits middleweight. ( i can agree that hes most likely on the lower end if you take all the middleweight chars but itd be kinda close).

okay now that we finally know d3 is heavier than pit lets move on......

Im trying to say that pit isnt easier to kill than most chars. Or its not a valid reason for some to not choose pit as thier char since its really close.

The thing you said about ganon is irrelevant cuz that could happen to any of the 18ish chars that are under pits weight. Also that just means ganon is stronger than pit. how does ganons three hits compared to pits 7 hits have to do with weight and being light?

You keep saying pit is lighter than other chars. Which im saying he isnt and i have facts and experience where you just have opinion and experience. and it seems like youve only played against heavy chars. since u mentioned d3 and ganon.

This is a question for all. Do some chars have better DI than others. cuz thatd be another issue when talking about who dies quicker. Ive heard wario has the best Di but hes not the heaviest char. idk if thats right tho.

Some do have better DI play as Jiggs for a match and you'll see I think she has the best DI. Over all Pit's DI has been called worse then most.

yea i said u were wrong because hes not lighter than most chars. hes in the middle...

making him die quicker wrong.

it basically comes down to whether you believe pit is middle weight or not.

yea but everything we talked about had some relevance to the topic of whether pit was easy to kill compared to other chars.

Edit: watching wifi games arent that bad ive seen some pretty epic item games. My favorite is when a soccerball appeared on brinstar and kept getting hti by lava and owning the _ outta everyone lol
