@PJB + Super Fab: Can you guys each sum up for me what you think "Kantplay" is for my knowledge? I'll be the first to admit I only remember playing one game with Kantrip and we had minimal interaction so I'd definitely like to hear what I should theoretically know about his play habits and reputation.

Kantrip has a weird play at times. I have misread him alot. I remember finding him very suspicious for being LAZY AS F.U.C.KKKK in Necromafia, and just seemed opportunistic. Nope, was town. I also made this whole case on him in LoLupick for playing weird (he started all LETS DO THIS LETS BE PROACTIVE but fell of the side of the earth after rvs) but was just town trying a new thing. THought he was scum in Celeb rehab. Nope. I also thought he was scum for being inactive/lazy in the newbie (cba to name the damn number) which was also due to his predecessor being inactive as ****.

Moral of the story is, Kantrip just plays weird. I can't just say "well when he is lazy he's scum" because at times he is lazy as town too. Could be the same as either alignment when he's not lazy too. So it all boils down to null. We just got to see why he's being lazy. Why he's acting in such a way. I will say once Kantrip like defects to some line of thought (usually the "You are scum with + _____ thought ), he really believes in it. One example is I defended raz turok and Kantrip immediately put together that I was his buddy. I also think once you are really convinced that he is scum he'll omgus you.

I will say that your point about him should still stand regardless. The thing is I liked that he was getting back in, the only thing is I can't really give him any points without really knowing what motivated him to do so. (Especially since it's a phase too late) This is why I keep him at null and will re-evaluate my read as time goes on.

Now with Soup, he did the same thing but in the same phase. I may see problems from that because it means he said things he didn't really mean and just did proactive things to seem proactive without delay (meaning him not caring to share reads.. may have been a facade). Now seeing the point that scum don't have communication I can see a connection (or disconnection?) of kantrip and soup possibly being scum who scummed each other without knowing.

On the contrary. I've requested to remove soup or have him investigated by the cop numerous times during the Day. Given this game's mechanics that's more or less equivalent to "looking at somebody as scumspect." What else am I supposed to do? What have you been doing that much more substantial that allows you to point fingers at me here?

I think by the time I have posted my original concern, you hadn't talked about Soup or any reads-related content so that was alarming to me you would direct attention to that without following it up for some time. If I'm wrong and you did talk about soup/reads before I posted then please show me via quote or just give me a post number, it would be helpful.

It's well known that I don't explain my town-reads unless specifically asked for them. You hold something perfectly acceptable against me.

You have explained reads and town reads before. Even if most of the time you don't explain your town reads via principle, your statement was sudden (basically I don't feel you could have had a solid opinion of me or PJB at the time), and I felt it was icky due to you not giving any other content besides that at the time. That's why I didn't like it.

Honestly, I don't really know. I just kind of realized my previous outlook was a bad one and that scumhunting in this game is important. I went over the rules again in preparation for my match and made some new discoveries that I formed into that big mechanics post, then I read some of the past pages and formed some reads.

They cannot communicate privately without being in a hotel room with each other, except for one member with a trick up his sleeve... or rather, a phone in his pocket, and he's keeping an eye out for the Tourney Cop, too.

Why couldn't I have had a more solid opinion on you though? You say "you don't feel I could", well that's *terribly* helpful. If we all play this game by how we feel then we'd probably lose every game. So before I'll answer that part I'd like you to tell me why you find it so unlikely that I could have had a solid read on you at that point of the game.

Actually, J was one of them people who reacted that way as well. I also think I remember pawn saying that he thinks it's unlikely that Kantrip vs soup is SvS.

I'd still like to know why. A heated argument between them two - even operating under the assumption they know each other to be scum - doesn't mean ****. So before anybody pulls out his ******** "scum or dumb" platitudes [which a.) are almost only pulled out by scum these days and b.) don't apply to me in either case] I'd like to hear a good explanation on why Kantrip / soup being on the same team is so unlikely that 4 people in unison claim that it can't be that way, that nobody except me is willing to give the idea some thought and that like 2 or 3 people immediately conclude that I'm either dumb or scum, when I'm neither.
