Can I come? Wisconsin sucks
You must live in Northern WI or something. Madison and Milwaukee have tournaments all the time. If close to MN by the border, there's tournies in Duluth or in the Twin Cities. If you're in central WI, the drive wouldn't be that bad for a decent sized tourney. If you're young, the problem probably is that you're young and can't drive and parents wouldn't drive you.

Long story short, if you don't live in Northern WI, I don't know what you are talking about.

Well, despite living in WI my entire life, being 15, not driving, not likely having a parent driving me anytime soon, I don't know my way around.......at all......and I live in Beloit, but I'm pretty sure many other states are better correct? So yea, that's many significant problems

What? Tourneys in Duluth? I'm clearly missing something here.

I placed 25th out of 100. Got beat by a Villager/Diddy main in pools and fought through a Marth and Zero Suit to make it out of pools. In Bracket i lost to a Greninja due to no exp in the MU and then i lost to @ DtJ XeroXen DtJ XeroXen who mains Mario. It went to last game, last hit and he killed me with B-Throw. There were times during the last match where I prolly could of killed him with Upper Cutter, but I was to scared to punish him from thoughts of me whiffing and getting punished myself.

Fun fact: I was the first person XeroXen ever played in tournament!
Mario was much worse in the Brawl days...

Guys, help, I've been sucked back into Xenoblade! And the worst part is...I can't escape it! Wherever I go, it's right there, in my pocket! Quick, send me some help before I get sucked back in again-

Also to Eevee's credit, there were at least 120 people at the tournament, not just 100 :D

I started playing Xenoblade forever ago, but haven't finished it yet...someday, before X comes out!

Egh.

The Kirby boards are so ugly right now. I'm gonna clean it up in a bit and get the place running again.

Also props to Eevee because I got 4th and nobody else really got me very close to losing who I beat. (Granted, the setup we were playing on didn't have my customs but I didn't really care)

BoX7 first round (just barely. placed higher than him. /johns). Then Shugo in a really close set as well.

Shugo was the one guy I was hoping not to run into. :/ I have sonic issues.

Hey guys. We got buffed in 1.0.6. I can confirm that down throw deals 10% damage now. No apparent changes to knockback, but it does more damage now.

Didn't Kirby's front air attack already deal 12% damage beforehand?

No placebo here, I can assure you of that. It's a clear 10 damage on dthrow in training mode.

Oh, I'm pretty sure back throw got buffed. Mario will die at the edge of FD at 115%. Did that usually happen?

EDIT: I guess it was a different character. Sorry, I'm tired.

So I did some testing between 3DS with 1.0.5 and WiiU with 1.0.6, and it seems that Kirby's moves have a slight increase in knockback? Either that, or Mario is a little lighter or maybe even something else. I did this all from the spawn point of FD.

u-throw (180)191
f-smash (110)114
u-smash (100)116
b-throw (173)185
b-air (132)141
hammer (122)126

EDIT: Yeah, these are incomparable after all...

DThrow does 10 damages too
He moves faster when charging his hammer?

Yes! Now we don't have to worry about getting sniped out of copy anymore. Also i've heard jab1-jab2 to inhale is a combo now is this true i tested it myself and it looks like the cpu could act out of it pretty fast then again it was bowser so that's probably why but i still want confirmation on it though.

Wait what exactly did they do to make copy safe? I havent played yet, did they add a bit of hitstun or do they just fly further?

And hmm, that jab jab inhale combo. Ive used that before sometimes as a mixup and it always worked but probably because i knew they would shield or something. I doubt it was changed, but idk maybe.

It sends you diagonally instead of straight up now. Also I think star spit sends the opponents as far as dedede's.

Edit: I lied it doesn't BUT the hitbox on inhale actually goes through the entire animation now so you can drag opponents in from farther away.

I think Kirby is able to duck under a fully charged Shadow Ball

EDIT: So he can't duck under a fully charged Shadow Ball but I'm pretty sure about half charge or so. I can only test on For Glory people though.

I just want to say it feels pretty funny copying Mewtwo's shadowball and kiling them with it. Its like, wow Mewtwo youve waited this long to get in the game and now I got yo power and i beat you with it. Idk, maybe thats just me.

Come to think of it, I cant remember the last time I hit an actual person with a Kirby shadowball. In fact, I dont think Ive ever did lol, even back in my casual Melee days since my siblings never used Mewtwo haha. I probably just hit bots.

Well, he has a reflector now, so he shouldn't get hit...

...but if they do, then it's even more satisfying

I feel like mewtwo is rediculously easy to KO
☯ He is lol, though hitting him will be a problem. Do not pick Battlefield against him, Confusion near the platforms gives him an extra option to U-Tilt, U-Air or U-Smash so pick a stage with no platforms and you'll have a better chance dealing with him. =D

Yeah he shouldn't get hit if youre just throwing it out predictably in neutral. Im usually throwing it out after he has to tech, trips from Dtilt, after he teleports, or maybe after a roll read if im 100% sure.
