well, i still get ***** by good foxes, but I don't really have much johns for that, don't really think link gets wtfpwned by him so much. (maybe just not good enough to fight others either way lol)

and meh, if I start attending tourneys for real sometime, I want to actually compete on a good level (hold some good counterpicks also).

either way, all johns till I can actually fight some good peeps.

and to romeo and the other guy that agreed with him:

even if we should have no problem whatsoever with the whole situation, it's a LOT to ask of people. understandably, there's some bitterness about it. think about it: lucky wants to bring his girlfriend, who doesn't play smash and who most people don't really know, on a car ride that's basically a bunch of guys who enjoy each other's company on the way to a major tournament. but not only does this girl not only going to be involved in any of the festivities, she's taking another member out as well.

personally i think it's selfish as hell to force that upon us. the gracious thing to do would be to ask if doing that would inconvenience people. it's basically lucky and his girlfriend getting a ride just to spend time with each OTHER. that's detracting from the trip as a whole, and why should we have to put up with that? some people don't agree with it and are just saying so; it's really like everyone's being used in a way, ESPECIALLY since mango would add a lot more to the ride than lucky and cathy making out and being a couple, because you know there's going to be little interaction between them and us.

then you add in the whole awkwardness -- possibly offending them as a couple, hurting lucky's feelings like now, etc. it's better lucky's feelings are hurt now then something happening on the car trip. it's like, who are we doing this for again? lucky or cathy? you're just asking us to totally accept someone into the melee community -- come on, most of us are pretty decent friends here at least in the confines of the game we play -- who we don't even know? when they are, and let's be honest, the subject to a bunch of wtf questions? like jtb said, wasn't she jesson's girlfriend? what happened? wtf is all of that? yes, it's none of our business, but by lucky forcing cathy into the car it brings his personal issues along for the ride, so he has no right to complain if other people take issue with it.

he was at the last tournament in norcal
went ot eat with everybody afterward
and played the box game at dennys
how is he a random?

joey and cathy going isn't going to put any pressure on you or other in the car
you can talk/act the way you want and odn't censore yourself she wont mind nor will she make a scene
