well he originally was supposed to but he's not sure anymore bc his mom and stepdad are renovating his basement and he doesn't want us to be upstairs bc truthfully we are loud motherlovers, especially UFB lol

ok soo heres the deal wit Papa smurfs smash fest...my basement (soon to b my pimped out room) is getting done as we speak. This means that I have good news and not so good news..Good: I can have a smashfest. Not so god: obv. Not in the basement therefore A) it has to start at like 4 or 5 and B) end at 9 or 10 maybeeeee 11 and the volume of ur voices will have to be cut down dramactically..

btw thanks to Chibo fury and I new team name is furyof1000smurfs lmao (not for MLG since fury promised nasty he'd team with him but after!)

this crews actually been around for probably like a year and a half, but their old crew thread died. it was essentially fury nasty and smurf. then recently they started getting crazy good and Vex and I joined so this crew stepped it up like crazy

Whats the plan for Wed and Thur? I'll be free almost (if not all) of tomorrow. I just talked to my game design group and told them what I plan to do and they said that's fine for my part of the project, and I should be done that work tonight, I'm essentially making the whole base of the game, designing all of the mechanics, thought of the story and characters lol. Then someone else is doing all of the art for the game and then two others taking what I did to create additional levels, and do stupid menial tasks like making the title screen and menus lol

Nasty told me that he was going to smurfs wed and staying over, then driving him + me + vex + xzax to his place Thur morning (for keit to get us). I'm assuming ppl want to smash a lot and practice wed night since its our last chance to (I'm done class at 2pm btw, but i sooooo wanna skip my classes tomorrow since I already handed in my work lol). vex and xzax included. if needed I can house 2 ppl, 3 would be too much of a stretch.

Chibo btw idk if you do this or not but for next tournaments or just in general make sure you advertise locally (schools, local gamestops etc) tournaments and smashfests or whatever to try to get more newcomers introduced in competitive gaming in general or brawl

From working at gamestop i doubt they would let u. But it wouldn't hurt to try. They only care about sponsored tournaments. But yea schools and the like would be cool.

I did this for some of my early DSOs and the attendance somewhat stuck. I got some new people involved. I also do it normally around the start of fall term with new students coming here. The only other time I really went out of my way to do this was for CoT4 (yeaaa look at that attendance, still in the top 5 biggest Brawl tourneys yet iirc), and SatS (which had over 40 for my first tourney in Brigantine and had a local of local SCRUB attendance, even if the scrubs were like no older than 10 years old as the arcade I hosted it at helped advertise around the arcade with flyers for the weeks leading up to the event.)

Thx for reminding me lol, I'll have to step it up more with that kind of stuff.

Yo that would be awesome, cuz I have to drive to Allentown anyway today and didn't really want to make the drive to Philly again to brawl... If smurf brings you guys there, I'll def be there!
