Social King K. Rool's Kremling Kutthroats: This...Is Our Finest Hour!

I have been playing a lot of K. Rool online and am currently setting at over 4 million GSP. I have some great experiences online and some not so good ones. I am so close to Elite Smash and yet I am starting to despise Cloud. Man he is so annoying to fight and I can never, for the life of me, can get past Cloud. Of course there was a Cloud player last night that broke my belly armor and the player started to taunt me (teabag) repeatedly. Ugh I can't stand players like that. Other than that, I have been pretty successful as K. Rool online, but there is room for improvement.

i think Palutena has to be one of K.Rool's worst matches though I Can handle cloud to some extent but palutena is a different story

I just want to finally see the next Nintendo title featuring K.Rool now with Ultimate out.

Hopefully he is in the next DK game, the new Mario & Sonic or the next Mario Kart.

Just anything that isn’t just his amiibo costume in SMM2.

Palutena is one of my mains as well so I know how to get around her lol.

Honestly, all need is K. Rool returning as the main antagonist again in the DKC franchise. Seeing him in Mario Kart or any other Mario spin offs would be sweet, but most importantly it's critical that he returns to his own franchise before we see Nintendo go crazy with him.

It has been a while since I posted on this thread and recently took a break from Smash, But now that I am back it's really starting to feel like King K. Rool may possibly have dethroned Donkey Kong as my new main.

N64 - Yoshi
Melee - Yoshi
Brawl - Donkey Kong
Wii U - Donkey Kong (Close 2nd) Diddy and Greninja
Ultimate - King K. Rool

I still plan to use DK as part of my 1-2 punch with King K. Rool ,But I really feel like have mastered or gotten to the next level with him as I have been steam rolling the competition lately online, especially rival heavyweights (Won 82% of my last 50 matches in Elite Smash) But I haven't felt this good about using him since I got Ultimate in release day, I always planned on using him since he was revealed back in August since he's was my 2nd most wanted newcomer after Banjo-Kazooie ,But sometimes theirs certain fighters that click and don't click with you and part of me was worried that I would not get the feel and grip of him as a fighter (gameplay wise) and I honestly didn't think he would be replacing DK for me.

(King K. Rool, DK, Diddy Kong and Greninja) are my core fighters, But whenever I had to face someone tough I would fall back on DK as he was my safest choice and my best fighter overall, But I really think I may have found my new main in King K. Rool.

I've been labbing K.Rool and found something interesting. His gut check has invulnerability frames even if his stomach isn't hit on frames 4-15, counters if stomach is hit f5-28, lasts 62f. Olimar's whistle is armored f 2-7, lasts 17f for comparison. So regardless of his positioning, gut check is a good escape move from juggles.
The buff to it was more helpful than I first thought.

I'm becoming more and more pleased that we got the Klaptrap as an Assist Trophy.

I'm also becoming more bitter that we got no other Assist Trophies.

Do generic enemies still spawn in Ultimate (goombas, and others from Melee's Adventure?)

It's so amazing how well Ben Gold (or Mr L) was able to adapt against. He really has good mental composure and good patience. His 2-frames are nice. His conditioning and mixups are absolutely ridiculous, and his baits are nuts. Glad to finally see a leader in our crew. :D

Those back airs are fire, I love the helicopter kills too. That crown to back air kill on the Joker was nasty too. It's also amazing how you managed to create this montage in the in-game video editor. Thanks for representing our king so well, keep up the good work dude!
