It is coincidences like these that make me believe that the Smash community has it's group of Illuminati.

So... Thanksgiving was fun, I'm spending this weekend with my mom and oldest brother (not Serynder, a non-Smasher) in PA. XD

On another note, MikeKirby just wondering have you played Xzax? He's hosting a PA tourney tomorrow and since I'm in PA right now, if my oldest brother has off work tomorrow, he can take me and Serynder and I wanna beat Xzax, so any advice for if I play him?
you wanna beat me? $20 MM ? :)

Props for referencing Terranigma. :b:

:phone:
Cheers. Terranigma is my favourite game of all time and one of my brother's favourites. It's so perfect in every aspect. Even its stealth aspects, while primitive, were really fun. And its story... I don't cry at the end of games often... but Terranigma is incredibly sad.

Awesome to see more people who know it. It should be more well known.

Oh, this game should be more well known too:

Elle's theme is beautiful. It reflects that long-lasting quest you're going on and so much of it is for her. And you can't get back to her, as much as you try, so you keep going in hopes that you can find your way back to her. And yet all you have of hers is the cape she made for you, protcected by her love for you. It's such a beautiful game and all its stories and plotlines weave beautifully together. IMO it's better than Chrono Trigger (as much as I love Chrono trigger) and it's far better than Earthbound (again, I still love earthbound). In fact IMO it's better than a lot of modern games. I hope that's not bias!

My favourite is this but only you and vinyl should listen to it because its a spoiler. So sad and beautiful.

That happens to also be my favourite VGM of all time. A lot of terranigma's music was amazing. Come to think of it, have you heard of kitaraproduction john? She decided as a young girl to do every one of terranigma's tracks remsatered and so far, the few she's done have been stunning. While I prefer the original Hero's final day (only slightly!), her others I usually prize above the original and it's because of her that 'sadness', an okay song from Terranigma has become my second favourite, easily. It's so beautiful...

Look up the original sadness before you listen to this.

Kiatarproductions: Terranigma - Sadness (remastered)

Then after you've heard it go listen to all of her other works. Don't worry, there are only 3 or 4 so you won't be there all day haha. :D

EDIT: You know what, I think in truth I value her version of my favourite VGM (AHFD) just as much as the original. They're tied.

You know, I never thought of that before.
Tbh, most $50+ MMs I see are best 4 out of 7, but I asked MikeKirby for our's just to be best of 5 cause I don't think I could stand high pressure Kirby dittos for 7 games... Or people would enjoy watching it for that long. XD

Although tbh, I DID agree to a best of 3 $20 MM before (wanted it to be best of 5, but the other guy said only best of 3) and I still 2-0'd him. XD

Not saying any names to avoid namesearching, judging from two people I'd never imagine in the Kirby boards... People namesearch more than I thought. XD

I totally agree. Terranigma's soundtrack definitely has the most 'good' tracks IMO. As in, other games have good tracks but the game isn't filled with them, they're only here and there. terranigma IMO is completely the opposite: Really good tracks with only the occasional 'meh' one. I really respect it for that.

Also when I listen to that remastered version of sadness, I do the exact same thing. Have you listened to it yet? it's soooooo good.

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the double mk ban is dumb. If I personally hosted a tourney, I would not apply that ban.

I knew Otori's original main was Kirby a long time ago, if you look up vids of "Otori Kirby" on YouTube, you'll see vids of his Kirby from 2009 vs RAIN's MK (this is when RAIN still mained Falco too) on Wi-Fi.

Nope, I have the entire brawl sound-track on mine. I also have poke platinum's soundtrack. If I had access i'd be getting a lot more on it, though it's only 8 gig and the brawl sound-track takes up like 3 gig of space on it. ><
Ah I see. Well I was going to say how I made my soundtracks into MP3s but when I dunno if it could cause me to take a strike from a mod saying so I'll wait. Nice to know you and John put in game music on yours. Many people at my job are always curious to know what music we like or they look at our iPod music list. I've kept the MP3s on the side and haven't put them into iTunes.

I know what you mean. I remember a guy who said "Well it bugs me when people do that, it's just music, i'm not going to go off at someone for their tastes...". I knew that the guy meant what he was saying and I responded with "Well I know you're not like that... but not everyone is so forgiving. If only you knew heh."

We were on the bus. As much as I wouldn't have minded showing him personally, there would have been like 20 others who would have seen too.

Also Auto, unfortunately here in Australia it's not seen so much as mainstream. :/
