Don't know if this is a common problem, but in the My Music page, the first page page of My Music has some Hannenbows and Training Stages around that replace other stages, and the second page for the most part is all Hannenbows and Training Stages. I want to look at the music but it's all screwed up.

This is detailed in the OP, but the extra Hanenbows and Training Rooms are placeholders for the Stage Extension stages (not the "hold button" but the "more on one page" stages). Since these weren't originally part of Brawl, none of the stages or music have names associated with them in the coding. Often when the My Music area for stages are accessed the game will crash, hence the warning not to select any Hanenbows or Training Rooms on My Music.

If you're interested in checking out the music, the OP has a link to a spreadsheet with all the replaced music on it as well as links to YouTube videos of the tracks where possible.

Yo man, loving the build but there is 1 problem im having. I dont think i have all the stages. Cause i only have 2 pages and some stages have alts to them but they still dont seem like its even a 100 stages haha. But i dont really care about the number of stages. The thing that i care about is that SOME STAGES LAGG. A LOT. I am using a homebrew wii and some stages just lagg so bad its not even fun to play in. the best example for the stages that lag is bower's keep. another would be the boxing ring stage.

I would also like it if you can tell me a way to have the stage list and menu from project m 3.6 full in your build but keep everything like the character skins and main menu and stuff. I just want the stage menu and stages from project m 3.6 as a seperate build for another use if thqats even possible.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP.

Those Stages Lag due to the High Poly Quality which Brawl (or the Wii itself) can't handle well..

It's definitely more than 450 stages when taking to account all the alts (almost every stage have alts and a lot of them have 8-10 alts. And yea a few stages do lag, Bowser's Keep is probs the heaviest one to lag, a lot of the Smash 4 stages will probs lag in a 4 player match.

There is a way of getting only the character skins and main menu. Take the GCT from Vanilla PM in the code folder. Download GCT Analyzer. Put the GCT Analyzer in the same folder as the GCT. Export the GCT as txt using the GCT Analyzer. Open the txt file. Add this to the code.
Characters can have up to 14 Costumes

Add this to the top of the notepad:
RSBE01

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (US)

Save. Download Ocarina. Open the .txt file you modified. Checkmark all the code boxes, then click export to GCT. Click store to file and find a RSBE01.gct file you want to store it to (this will override the code in the RSBE01.gct file so you might want to make a backup just in case). Download cBliss Tool. Place the cBliss Tool in the same folder as your modified GCT. Open cBliss Tool. Click on Mario, then click on Edit, then Apply. You will have to do this for each character otherwise Team Colours will crash. After your done click on Update GCT. Copy your modified code to the codes folder of vanilla PM.

If you don't want to go through this process of editing code, you can always download sinistersnakeseenin's cBliss and ASL for 3.6 Kit and use the build from there. It's not too hard to edit code though but I'm here if you need guidance. Regardless, follow the next steps.

Replace the following files in Vanilla PM or the Kit with files from my build:
The fighter folder from projectm/pf
The portrite folder from projectm/pf/info
The info2 folder from projectm/pf
sc_selcharacter.pac and mu_menumain.pac from projectm/pf/menu2
The common folder from projectm/pf/menu
STGRESULT.pac from projectm/pf/stages/melee

Hope this helps, lemme know if you get it to work!

Project M 3.6 full's events get glitched, particularly the pokemon ones where it will load pokemon trainer in saffron. Does this mod have all the events working?
I only changed the second last event, but I'd assume that the PMDT made all the events winnable especially after 3.5. Maybe try running a versus match with one of the Pokemon Trainer Pokemon first, then try the event, this works for SSE at least.

How easy would it be to make a homebrew version of the hackless build? as in just 150 stages with homebrew?

Very easy! Download vanilla homebrew Project M, then replace the gameconfig.txt, codes and projectm/pf folder from the hackless version of my build.

Hi, I have an issue here. Every time I try to load the pack through the PM launcher and press play, the screen just loads back to the Wii Menu. I'm using a 16GB SDHC card and trying to load through homebrew.

-Edited Classic Mode and All-Star mode to feature added stages,
- Stage Builder stages are enabled
I may not be interested in the full build, but could you please tell me how to make these edits to my own? Because I've been wondering how to do this very thing.

For the stages that require X, you have to press X outside when your cursor is not on a stage, then hover over the stage while holding x, let go of the control stick then press a to select the stage. By the sounds of it, it should work for you as it was working for you before, remember that there isn't any sort of stage select indication that you are selecting the alt stage. Like holding the button combination then pressing A will take you to it. Try holding L before selecting Jungle Japes and lemme know if you are able to get the Jungle Hijinx which is the alt.
Can I just take the "apps" folder from the hombrew version, switch the RSBE01 codes and put it on the hackless version to make it work with homebrew?

GCT Editor
will allow you to enable Stage Builder under the Static Codes subheading (note that this is only usable for running PM on Homebrew)
Classic Stage Editor will allow you to edit the stages used in Classic Mode using MiscData[8] in common2.pac (you will have to ues BrawlBox to extract it)
Misc Data Editor will allow you to edit the stages and characters (and effects in events) for All Star mode and Event Mode.

All these programs are made by libertyernie

If you have a 2GB SD Card and want to run the Hackless build on Homebrew, download vanilla PM Homebrew, delete the gameconfig.txt, codes and pf folder and replace it with the gameconfig.txt, codes and pf folder from the hackless build.

I'm most interested in how you got Port Town X to work alongside Port Town.

Is it possible to have Port Town X be the default? I really like it.

Is there any way to access all the stages with just a Wiimote+Nunchuk? It seems impossible and it kind of upsets me that the compatibility isn't there, even if nobody uses it (I simply can't afford to get anything else atm). I can access Z stages, at the least.

Yes, its actually very easy, you would just rename STGFZERO_A.pac to STGFZERO.pac (found in projectm/pf/stages/melee) and st_fzero_A.rel to st_fzero.rel (found in projectm/pf/module), this will make Port Town X be the default and make regular Port Town be the alt.

What happend to yoshi's egg textures?
I fixed this in Ver. 1.51, you must have downloaded the build when it was at Ver. 1.5.

Do the latest links of the full download contain all the latest fixes mentioned in the OP?
Unfortunately no, it takes awhile to reupload both the Hackless and Homebrew builds with the fixes and I am still waiting on any other bug reports too. I will include the fixes on a future update of the build (might update the build once the cBliss Tool makes it easier to add 14 costumes to characteres), but for now you would have to download the patches and place the files in the correct location.

There is a way to do this, you can edit the button combinations in the RSBE01.gct (in the codes folder) using the ASL Tool. You could probably change buttons that use L, R, X or Y with holding a direction of the DPad, or by holding A, whatever works best. It shouldn't take too long and it relatively pretty simple to do.

EDIT: To access alt stages that use L, you can unplug your nunchuk in the SSS and hold B while selecting the stage.

Wait, really? I kept on trying to get it to work and I couldn't do it. I'll try popping it into my own build real quick, thanks!

For future reference, what are the .rel files? (also if it's not too much trouble could you upload these separately? It'll take a whopping five hours to download the whole pack when I mainly just want the Port Towns..)

I have something special that I compiled today as I had some free time.

A lot of people enjoyed the Patt Edition for the plethora of characters it included, and since it has been discontinued and hasn't been updated since 3.5, I decided in using my build as a base and incorporating all the characters from it. The Patt Edition was my first introduction to PM and Brawl Modding, so I wanted to revive it to 3.6. I'd consider it as the ultimate 'For Fun'/casual build for PM as it doesn't consider itself seriously. Obviously most of these costumes are not tourney legal but when else do you get to play as Homer Simpson in Smash. Here's the DL

The Revived Project M Patt Edition 3.6

It is meant to be sort of 'DLC' to my build, so have my build (Hackless or Homebrew) in the SD Card. Then download the Revived Project M Patt Edition 3.6 and extract the contents to the SD Card merging any folder and replacing any file it asks you to. Then download the Homebrew .gct file or Hackless .gct file (depending on the version you have) and place it in the code folder. The end result will have all the characters from the Patt Edition Ver. 3.02-11 and the stages, music and other stuff from my build.

So for those of you who were eagerly awaiting for an updated Patt Edition, I hope you enjoy this.

NOTE: I haven't tested if all the costumes work for 3.6 so if you get any freezes/bugs lemme know and I'll try to fix it when I get spare time.

EDIT: Forgot to include codes

Wait, really? I kept on trying to get it to work and I couldn't do it. I'll try popping it into my own build real quick, thanks!

For future reference, what are the .rel files? (also if it's not too much trouble could you upload these separately? It'll take a whopping five hours to download the whole pack when I mainly just want the Port Towns..)
Here's the DL Link for Port Town X, and rel files are important for the stage to load. Port Town X uses a Battlefield based .rel, so if you wanted to replace Brawl Port Town, you would have to name the file as STGFZERO.pac and put it in projectm/pf/stages/melee and use this site to make a Battlefield based .rel for Port Town and place it in projectm/pf/module. Brawl Stage Manager also makes this easy to do.

Oh, I knew about how the .rel works, but does regular Port Town just go without one then? ASL + .rel files = really confusing

The way ASL works with modules is that if there is a button combination for an alt module but the module file is not there, then it will load the the Brawl Module from the disc (vBrawl) which is why regular Port Town doesn't need a .rel in my build as the default one will load anyway.

Hmm, which one freezes, the Port Town X (which you moved to the default spot) or default Port Town (which you moved to the alt spot). And are you using my build or your own custom build, like did you modify the code at all?

Port Town freezes, which is on the alt spot

I have an .rel for Battlefield over Port Town for st_fzero and nothing for the alt. Port Town X is STGFZERO.pac and Port Town is STGFZERO_Z.pac (it's Project M's version with grabbable ledges)

I'm using my own but it's nothing more than regular PM with stage expansion, slightly modified ASL, and slightly modified default rules. I am positive that _Z is the suffix that is needed for the stage.

Ahh I might see the problem. So when you edited the code for ASL, did you set the suffix to A or Z? And did you add ASL for the fzero module as well?

Set the suffix for Z, absolutely positive on this. I even tried to use a different Port Town X setup as the alt and it worked fine.

ASL for the fzero module? I do have one for Port Town X but I thought Port Town didn't need one, since it would just load the regular one?

Yep the rename Brawl Port Town X to STGFZERO_Z, and you need to add ASL to the module. It's a bit confusing but this is how it works. If there is a button combination is for the stages, and not for the module, then it will load the replace module in the SD Card (st_fzero.rel) If there is a button combination for the stages, and for the module, but no rel file for the alt stage, it will search for the missing alt file (eg. st_fzero_Z) but if it's not there it will load the module from the Brawl disc. So you need to add ASL otherwise it will just load the replaced module on the SD Card which is a Battlefield Rel since you have Port Town X as the default.

Is this done in the codeset or the .rel? The ASL tool by Mewtwo2000 doesn't seem to have the word "module" mentioned just about anywhere, so this is very confusing.

Also, Brawl Port Town or Port Town X? Haha.

In the codeset, you have to click on Stages-> and it will then switch to Modules-> in the tool.
