I would probably come. TZ is out of town though. Wohlgey is down.

8-bit link me the gamefaq board with pokemon trades. Prove it's existence.
You must be a giant idiot if you are contemplating driving in this ****.

On second thought, go ahead. The gene pool could use some cleansing.

lol how bad is it down there? It's been epic up here, like 14 inches or some stupid ****. Town basically shut down on Christmas, ppl were canceling family gatherings left and right.

pyro... smash???

I'm man enough to drive in this weather, even with my 2 door. Atleast it's got FWD. But yeah, which direction do i need to drive to play melee tonight?

Um, I've driven in it 3 times already, in my 89 oldsmobile, and done fine.

Thanks for posting for the first time and ages and being an *******.

You basically just said "go die."

I'd like to go tonight, but I dunno if my parents are gonna let me drive in this weather

I pop my head into GameFAQs' Pokemon trade board from time to time. If you need help PC, I'll offer some, but don't get greedy.

And props to Strong Bad for upgrading from Yu-Gi-Oh! to Magic: The Gathering. It's just like going from Brawl to Melee in my eyes.

Even if smash is on, I highly doubt the trip from Lawrence would be a pleasant one as it's nearly an hour even under favorable conditions.

It may be a good idea just to cancel for those not as confident in their snow driving abilities or who don't want to risk being stranded in Liberty if the snow kicks up again.

lol... dyc can't drive in snow.
This is nothing, in Rolla, the road was made of ice.
DYC drives just fine in snow. It's called 4 wheel drive. Skill at driving in snow does not mitigate the ****** factor that would cause anyone to drive in this more than they absolutely had to.

I play both. Kind of more of a Smash 64 and Melee comparison, though I am not so sure which I'd associate with which there. I'd say Yu-Gi-Oh!'s competitive community is much like Brawl's though; whiny and steal **** from each other. Ugh. The comparison is also interesting because Magic came before Yu-Gi-Oh!. :p
I put in ~$60 to my Yu-Gi-Oh! deck last week while I put $70 into my MTG deck today. My Yu-Gi-Oh! deck is more or less finished. After I get 4 more fetch lands (likely 2 Verdant Catacombs and 2 Marsh Flats)and tweak it a bit (maybe 1 more Bloodghast, which is only $8, haven't decided yet) it should be just about finished. Took 1st at the tourney I went to today and got some nice rares :)

So anyway after I was done nerding out I came home and played Melee with two of my friends. So good. I miss going to Pyro Smash :(

I can almost guarantee this was done with project64 and frame advance.
My first clue? Middle screen of the 3 view part (20 seconds in), sprite layer artifacting (failed transparency) on the offscreen magnify draw.

In the very near future I'd posit that we'll begin seeing seemingly impossible melee videos produced via similar methods. Dolphin's emulation of melee has been nigh perfect and playable at full speed for quite some time now.

A lot of people use computers to play smash 64 these days because it's the only way to get competitive play, seeing as you can go online.

I'm not sure though

Yeah I was a Magic player back in High School and was even a part of a Magic Club. The club was exclusively Magic for a little while and then some Yu-Gi-Oh players came by and it pretty much went the same way Barrio went when Brawl came out. Most of the cool, not so nerdy Magic players left the club and a bunch of too nerdy Yu-Gi-Oh players almost completely took it over.

I played a little Yu-Gi-Oh in middle school, so I knew how to play the game and when I learned Magic, I saw it as a superior game in almost every way. I only stopped playing because I never had money to get new cards. Even though I had a job, my parents never let me use the money for anything fun. I had an ok Sliver deck that people in the club helped me build and one of the pre-made artifact decks from the Mirrodon block, but I never could build them up and it got boring playing with the same two decks. Plus people got used to their strategies.
