the QUALITY of Smash Bros would go down if Bandai Namco let Toei have a chance to touch the game for Goku.

No, that's just an old misconception. They are portrayed as the same character in Japan as well. The trophy description was an error.

God, I hate people on GameFAQs who bash on King K. Rool without any base or logical reasoning. It's like trying to talk to a brick wall: You can say all you want, with logic and reason, but they won't get it. And for the most part, it's Fire Emblem fans who do it while crying that their series gets attacked.

I would like it. His Kaptain persona is arguably the most popular, and I also like it because nicely compliments the Viking-based Snowmads. The Kremling Krew designs used in DKC2 were also the most imaginative, imo.

I really hope that Sakurai realizes how much K.Rool's thread blows every other potential character's thread out of the water!!! I mean c'mon, how much more do you want?! We've all made it easy for you! Hopefully, time is the only enemy we have now.

He's probably not paying attention to Smashboards. Nintendo of America might be glimpsing at Smashboards, but we can't be sure of that either.

But ever since I saw the cannon ball launch in the cinematic for brawl where Petey Piranha came out of the smoke (unfortunately), I've wanted K.Rool in!!

Did anyone else think it was K.Rool in this vid? I voted right when the ballot came out and I did again about a month ago, for shatz and giggles, but we will see.

i'm entering the photo studio challenge but I don't know what picture to post :(

1st pic: Basically king k rool standing on top of a whole bunch of coins going "i'm rich!"
2nd: A giant King K Rool with that food that makes you breath fire. Holding diddy kong and going to force him to eat it
3nd: A villain selfie with all the kings of nintendo
4nd: King k rool attacking palutinas ( i forgot how to spell her name ) temple like godzilla

I know i'm late to respond to this, but i've played random people online that had the "get rekt" comment and other overconfident comments similar to it in their profile, after i beat them once they leave. I guess they hate having their own words thrown back at them.

I think this may very well be an issue. Sakurai may see it as awkward for the King to use the weapons that his other personas use, like having Dr. Mario use the power ups of Super Mario. He also might think that one character having multiple different fighting styles/themes into one move set would be sloppy and unprofessional, and him only taking inspiration from the King persona won't add anything interesting. I could see Sakurai being ok with the blunderbuss and helicopter pack being set to a special move, but I could totally see him not wanting to use other potential moves from his other personas in his normal moves.
