Just wondering; who is Neo Zero, and why is his saying this is legit credible?
Neo Zero is an admin who had inside information on the original ESRB leak.
Interesting. I believe this a bit more, but I am still cautious about this.
Don't forget DKL 1-3 as well.I imagine it'll be pretty starkly different from the trophy model.
The tail is only ever particularly pronounced in DK64 and in DKC1-3 it's very easy to miss so I could see it going either way.

If you look carefully you can see it pretty good even though there's no color.
I wish we knew more of the short-listed characters. If there are supposedly 15-20 of them and we now know almost a handful, I'm curious as to who the others are. With Waluigi, K. Rool, Paper Mario, Chibi Robo and maybe Takamaru? No 3rd parties in there..that we know of anyway. Makes me wonder if 3rd parties are going to be given the short end of the stick due to needing more work put into them OR if they would just be kept more secret than the rest.
Ah okay. Makes me wonder why they bothered lol.

The leaker has confirmed that these are just a handful of choices from the shortlist, and that there are about twenty others not mentioned.
Pretty sure ChaosZero (a real brawl leak) came from gamefaqs. Heck the larger part of the ESRB leak came form 4CHAN

Correct, but the fact that we only know half a dozen names or so makes me think these are highest priority. The leaker later mentioned Wolf and Inkling but said they have a "low chance" or something to that effect.

I can somewhat buy Isaac not being on a shortlist if they underestimated his popularity, though I don't understand Chibi Robo being above Isaac. Chibi Robo isn't even close to Isaac at all in any polls, the only thing going for him is a new game which the dev's specifically stated was so they could try and draw more attention to the series. Then again, ballot results could easily change that and push Isaac up.
Less staff and urgency to leak when characters come one at a time instead of all at once.
He was involved in the ESRB leak. Which makes him LESS credible, because the odds of him getting such info a second time is slim-to-none. If he works for any of the companies involved, he was fired last year. If he leaked info that was shared with him, why would someone else share info with him as well?
That makes sense. Still wondering about the second part of my original question, though.
Most likely because people are a lot harder to fool after people like Omni started coming out of the woodwork.
This is the guy who did the Shulk, Jr, Doc leak.
I know, right? Those are some of the reasons why I found this "leak" suspicious. Just because the leaker was involved in the ESRB leak doesn't make it so we should believe him with this leak, which is why I don't believe in this leak more now. Plus, saying he wants his source to remain anonymous doesn't help much.
This goes for any leak though. Why would he risk his source getting fired and sued?
Yeah, except that can not be the case half the time. Some people may just say that to excuse themselves from posting a "source" to a "leak" they made up.
