Just wondering (how are Ikes doin?)

I have been absent from the boards for a very long time, but i have been brawlin a lot, going to tournies, and whippin out the ike once in awhile and though he may be mid tier, i find if you are smart enough ike is a very big threat to many tourney goers because they never faced a good ike

so i would like to know

How are you guys doing?

we where advancing a lot in the past few months and telling other boards to get to November metagame and forget about April.

i main marth but ike is so much fun and sometimes gives me an edge against some players in tournies

i have a question?
how come all the ike vidz ive seen no one uses QD for a ledge atk?
its a good mix up (i use fair, up b, sometimes nair)
anyone else use this?

Because it's easily avoidable, has a lot of lag behind it, and won't usually kill like Ike's aeriels will (note USUALLY, it can kill).

well im sayin to get up from the edge.........

most people i play will stay from the edge bc of aether, and i fake getting up with side b, do that a few times, then go for an actual ledge hop side b to AAA bc it wont hit them..........

i havent really been punished for it
but its a bad idea?

I use it sometimes if the enemy is at a good range so I can QD -> Jab, but it's usually too risky, if you get shielded you're a dead man basically..and that's bad ;p

Gah, I wished I owned a wii... I only get to play on the weekends at my friends house and right now, according to my friends, I've gotten better than they have. I wish I could play with other people and get even better! Luckily my friend is really nice and plays Meta knight so I'm more focused towards dodging. Sometimes I can survive above to 200% dmg(dodge those slower killer hits!), and my timing is alot better now(I learned not to use too much power hits), now I'm practicing the timing on countering until I get close to perfect. Next I wanna practice throwing and turning them into combos. If only I owned a wii... oh well, til the next weekend!
